On Saturday, we made our first purchase for our trip! Went into the dollar store and they had pool noodles which my boys really want for the pool at DW. 72 cents each! 
What color, you ask??????
Lime green, of course! (just happened to be the only color they had)
Then, yesterday, I had to return something to Toys R Us (BTW, in case you didn't know, you can't return things there without a receipt anymore). With the money I got back, I bought 2 travel games for the boys to play in the car - trouble and connect 4.
I told DH that I plan on buying a few things every paycheck so money wise won't affect us at all! Can't beat that.
