I made it!!!

Well, after slowly tapering myself down (as Dr Atkins suggests), I have finally reached it...............

GOAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I weighed today, and I am at 60 pounds total loss since joining the WISH Challenge!

I have gone from 245 pounds, with a 42" waistline, to 185 pounds, and a 34" waist.

In preparation for the upcoming temptations awaiting me on my first ever trip to WDW, I am going to trim off an additional 5 pounds or so to give myself a cushion, but the 185 mark was the REAL goal that I set after seeing how Atkins was working for me. Before starting the program, I was only expecting to be able to trim off maybe 20-25 pounds, but the success that I enjoyed made me set more ambitious goals.

All of you here, especially my PM Buddy & prime motivator Kelsie, have made this possible. The support of friends is something that a lot of people underestimate. Doing it this way is SOOOOOOOOOOO much better!

That's GREAT NEWS John!! COngratuations on attaining something you worked so hard for! DOn't forget to prime your tummy a little before you go if you're plannig on eating those goodies at WDW! Otherwise- you may have some....shall we say "discomfort" ! SO eat a variety of foods before you go!

60 pounds is such an incredible loss, but look at everything you have gained along the way. Confidence, friends, a bunch of purple, silver and were there any gold? clippies, a wealth of knowledge, the CAN DO it attitude, etc. WOW!

You are just amazing!!! I remember it seems like just yesterday you were posting your recommendation about a low carb pizza, and now look at you, wearing size 34s!!!!!!!!! Weighing 185!!!!!! Accomplishing more than you thought you could when you started out!!!!!! WEARING THAT GORGEOUS RED GOAL CLIPPIE!!!

I think I can imagine how you are feeling today! Glad you are "rewarding" yourself with some eating room for your big WDW trip!!! You deserve it! Woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! I hope you are going to stick around with the rest of us losers and continue to offer your encouragement, with or without your head, we love you!!!!!!!

Your an inspiration to us all.......I myself just started atkins and have lost 10lbs. within 5 days..........there is no greater motivation in the world than that to stick with it.
