I totally agree with what Joh said.

I think if I were in your situation I would just class myself as single and do what I wanted, as you say have some fun, and start to get on with my life. There may be things you had put on a back burner and now is an excellent opportunity to do those things. Whatever you do don't hang about waiting for DH to make a decision.

Just a quick update, as I am sure people who first get into these types of threads wonder how things go.

Well only 3 weeks until New York with DH, well he is still my DH

We are both looking forward to this holiday even if it is a bit different to the norm

At the moment I am having a great time single, but have started seeing someone

Also off to Egypt for a week in January with a female friend from work, my first 'girlie holiday' ever!

DH has rented his own flat now and is getting settled in.

So that is how things stand at the moment.
