Would you recommend Maya Grill at Coronado Spring?

Any idea of what is on their menu?

Would it be worth a special trip or should I just stick with Mexico in EPCOT?

I would not recommend San Angel Inn in Epcot to anyone. The service was very poor and the food totally forgetable. If you are a fan of Mexican food you will be disappointed! The atmosphere is nice but not worth poor service and food. I'd try Maya Grill.

Thanks jkovick

We love the food at both San Angel Inn and Maya Grill.

Just remember that the food in San Angel is real mexican food, not taco bell type...so those that are not used to real mexican food will be in for a shock.

Either way, you can't lose with those two for choices!

We love San Angel. That is my favorite restaurant at Disney.
We have not tried Maya Grill, which I wanted to do, but it doesn't seem to be so much mexican type food. Just a few selections.

last time I was at Maya Grill it had a Nuevo Latino flair....very tasty.....

Sounds good
Thanks Chia

I thought Maya Grill was an Italian/Mexican combo. Rather strange to me. I loved their breakfast, though. We did like the San Angel Inn. We had excellent service and the food was tasty.

We love the San Angel Inn too- Always eat there every trip. The Queso Fundido appetizer (for 2) is super yummy. It is definitely real Mexican food, not tex-mex however.
If you want Mexican (tex-Mex) and have a car- there is a Chevy's just outside of Downtown Disney in the same supermarket center as Gooding's Market - very tasty "fresh-Mex", probably about half the price (or less!) of the San Angel Inn.
Further away, on International Drive is a Don Pablo's which is equally good (try the Sopapilla's- the brandy butter sauce is out of this world). Both Chevy's and Don Pablos are chains, and you can get the addresses off their websites if you are interested....Jill

As you can see, it is now pretty much "meat and potatoes" place. The San Angel Inn is your only outlet for Mexican at WDW. Of course, for Cuban, there's Bongo's in Downtown Disney West Side. I've never been there, but I've seen mixed reviews on the DIS.

Hope this helps.

Did Juan & Only's at the Dolphin close? I think I read there's just the lounge still open. I heard GREAT things about that place!

Unfortunately, Juan and Only's closed some time ago from what I understand. There really is nowhere to get good Tex-Mex at WDW which surprises me.

The service and food at San Angel are abot the best on property. It is about my favorite place to eat in the whole World.
