I had NO idea that you could make dining reservations online. I have ALWAYS had to call that 1-407 number and wait several minutes to get through to a respresentative.
I just booked BOMA and 1900 Park Fare for our trip in Feb. I just LOVE buffets :)

can you help me to understand how to do the online? what time can you start trying to book, and are you supposed to book all your adrs at once? what if you book something, and keep booking other's, is the first ressie confirmed yet, could you possibly lose it by the time you confirm?

I also love it. I answer a constant ringing phone at my job but have access to the internet. It makes planning ADR's so much easier.
:thumbsup2

You can go online at 6:00 am. You can book 180 days out (from the first day of your ressie, plus ten days. If you are staying for more than ten days, you have to book those in the next booking window.

You want to make your most important ressies first. Then work your way down the list. It holds everything in your cart for two hours, so you have plenty of time. I did eight TS ressies in about fifteen minutes.

The nice part about online ressies, is that if there is not a time available for what you asked for - it will suggest other times, as well as other restaurants. It suggested another place I would never have even been to, since CP at MK was already booked solid for that day. We loved it!

You do have to keep an open mind; sometimes it is the experience that is more valuable to you and the time doesn't matter - sometimes it is the other way around.

When you are finished, you want to make sure you fill in the part that asks you for an e-mail address to receive all your confirmation numbers - you cannot retrieve your ressies w/o the confirmation numbers and the phone number you booked the ressie for confirmation (usually your cell phone number).

I put my ressies, as well as the confirmation nos. in my cell phone just in case I needed them.

Good idea about putting confirmation numbers in your cell. I will do the same!

I love the online as well, giving alternate times/places is a big help!

When you get into the confirmation screen you can also have them emailed, which I do then print out.

I think that online reservations is just great! I was able to see what times I could get for our intended restaurants then book them! We got all the places we wanted but on different days and the only "late" dinner was at Le Celluar. Everything else was right in our usual dinner time around 5:30 p.m.

I have made online ressies before but never at my 180 day mark.
If you are a DVC member and staying on points how can you make 180+10
online???
Kind of confused

Any way we can update this phone#? I skimmed through it quick, not realizing they wanted your contact# DURING the trip.

A little off topic, but can you make ADRs if you are not staying on-site?

It doesn't request any resort reservation info, so yes you shouldn't have any problems. Just think about it... people with park tickets (alone) have as much right to make reservations. Lemme know if I'm wrong.:confused3
