So thinking I had to cancel and then re-book in order to use all the ones he earned this year, I started noodling around on the National website and realized... The Base Rate on a new reservation (when I was again using my Car & Driver magazine code) was the same...so....hmmmm, maybe I could just go into my previous reservation and simply add the newest One/Two/Free coupon?

the coupons are great. I appreciate the extra level of service extended when they recognize you are Executive. I wasn't happy with supposed fullsize choices last week though; mostly what i'd term midsize, settled for an Accord. Still a nice, new car and no surprises. I doubt if we'll qualify again next year, was nice while it lasted
