I love living in Florida!

Okay, it is true that I've only been here about a week and a half. So far, I love it! It's been hot! It's been stormy! But how can you beat being able to just drop into the parks for a little while and then return to the comfort of your own home? Today, DD and I went to MGM to watch the Star Wars parade and then popped over to Epcot for lunch in World Showcase. When we got to hot and tired, we came home. It was great! Tonight, we plan on sitting on our front porch to watch the fireworks at MK.

Now, not everything has been a bed of roses since we moved here. We are still dealing with the dog/lightning issue and I still have very little furniture and a lot of boxes. We have ants in the kitchen. If you drop the tinest piece of food, there will be ants there in a matter of minutes. Workers building a house on the lot next to mine wake me at 7:30 every morning with hammering and latin music. Even so, I LOVE LIVING IN FLORIDA!!!!!!!

How far are you from Disney? Glad you are enjoying it, I always thought that would be a good move for me but after going down last June I knixed that idea or at least for now, once I go down this Novemeber I'll want to move there again. Good luck on your new home

I feel the same about my move to Virginia. Only, I go to events at all the bases and enjoy watching the military guys!
