Hi, all,

I am having so much fun working on details for our June trip -- anticipation and planning really IS half the fun, at least for those of us "weirdos" who enjoy it!

Several weeks ago I made room ressies (6 nights at SoG, 2 at Hard Rock) and bought airline tickets for the five of us. Then this week I made some ADR's -- Boma for DH, DS20, and I (would be a waste of $25 for DS17 and DD14 -- they'll enjoy Mara and wandering AKL MUCH more!), Coral Reef for DH and I, and for all of us, Tony's, Sci Fi, and Rose and Crown (7:30 pm, hopefully we'll watch Illuminations from there). Today was the crowning touch so far. I didn't think I'd be able to get it, since we're at quite a bit less than 180 days out, but I decided to try for a surprise for DH, DS20, and DS17 -- the Epcot Segway tour! And I got it! They will love it so much, I can't wait. I'm a typical mom/wife; I get just as much enjoyment out of seeing my family happy as I do myself. Not that I'm a martyr, believe me, I'll have the time of my life this trip! Anyway, every review I've read of this tour just raves about it. Now my only wait is to try for an Illuminations cruise at the end of March when the 90 day window opens. Even if I don't get that, I'm happy, but that would be just incredible.

Happy Disney dreams, everyone! pixiedust:

I'm one of those "weirdos" who love planning! We aren't going till the day after Thanksgiving and I already have our hotels on the way down and back booked and our vacation home booked. Actually, I even have our days planned already. So I total understand your planning love. And I understand being excited for your family having fun. When my DD7 met Belle for the first time I cried..it was so sweet and I was so happy for her.
Have a great time and enjoy your planning. Good luck with the Illuminations cruise.

PS.. I use that line "I love it when a plan come together" all the time. I loved the A team!!

I'm another Disney planning addict from Ohio... I must've planned 80,000 trips since our last "real" trip last April! Have a great time!

Don't you just love that!
Now thanks to your thread title I can't get the A-Team theme out of my head! :rotfl2:

I am also a planning weirdo! That is why I am up at 5:30 on a Sat. morning on the DIS boards...my favorite site! My family (immediate and extended!), my coworkers and all my friends are so tired of listening to me talk disney :sad2: My 9 year old daughter is the only one who will listen and watch the disney planning video with me! I think I may lose her soon!

We are also going in June and have all of our ADRs planned and actually everyday planned! My brother and his family will be going with us for the first week (we are staying 2) and I hope that he likes what I have planned so far. If not, too bad.....he will just have to go with the flow!

Happy planning!

Helen

I'm a planner as well. Guess those of us who lurk on these boards must all have the-we love to plan bug. My problem with planning the daily schedule for this trip is that everytime I think I have a plan, I read something that changes my mind. I have surfed the net and gone to the book store and read the trip reports and the unofficial guides and they all give different advice on what days to go and how to go. We go June 5 and I think I've finally decided to just go armed with my knowledge and go with the flow. I'm even starting to drive myself nuts.

Planning the trip is 1/2 of the fun! Love the DIS, I'm :cool1: on every chance I get and always find something new!
