I love going to Disney because....

I never had a chance to go as a child. My first experience in Disney was in my 40's.

I love it because it is magical and my happy place ! All stress gone when I get there. Only good thoughts!

I asked my 11 yo when he thought he would be tired of going to Disney. He said, "never times infinity!"

I love Disney because it's just such an easy vacation to take with little kids. They have something for everyone to do, no matter their age.

I love the attention to detail everywhere.

I love that there's so much to do that even after 6 trips, we're still able to find at least one new thing to do every trip.

I love seeing my kids meet the characters, and the look on my 4yo's face when she comes off of a ride she'd been a little scared to try but loved.

I love that every day, my 2yo asks when we can go back to "Dismey Wode" and ride more rides and see Mickey.

Just the feeling, the atmosphere, the smells, the sounds, the colours, the little details. Getting to be a big kid again. Just pure magic.

Thought I would start a thread because there are still many reasons to love Disney.

I love it because:

It is magical to all my children (including the teens :) )
I love spending time with my family and feel at ease in the parks.
I enjoy the resorts and the amenties they offer.

Anyone else?

I love going to Disney because my grandma took me when I was 10 years old. She made a big deal about it and bought me new clothes. It was my first time on vacation, my first time on a plane, and my first time in a hotel.

My parents divorced when I was 5. My dad was too busy/preoccupied with his new family to do anything "special" with me and my mom never had the money to do anything so extravagant.

In my eyes my grandma was perfect. She was married, kept an immaculate house, and raised 6 kids. I loved everything about her and didn't get to see her that much because she was my dad's mom and after the divorce I didn't get to see that side of the family as much.

My grandmother loved Disney. She went every year, and took each grandchild the year they turned 10. We stayed at POFQ for 8 days and I had the time of my life and never forgot. From then on, I always equated Disney family vacations with love.

When I got married 12 years later I knew I wanted to honeymoon at Disney. When I started having kids I knew that I wanted them to experience the joy of a wholesome family vacation.

To me, going to Disney, it makes me think of my grandma and how loved and special I felt when she took me on vacation. Sadly, my grandma died of cancer 5 years after we took that trip. A few months before she passed she took her last vacation to Disney. Whenever I go to Disney I think of my grandma and tell my kids about how she took me there when I was little and what a great lady she was and how much I miss her.

Phew...sorry that was long...but that is why I love Disney.

Quite simply it is magical...we have visited over twenty-five times in the last twenty years and whether it is spring, summer, winter or fall...we always bring home a magical memory...Best of all, your first moment back on Main St...seeing the castle, the theming...always takes our breaths away! Can't wait to be back in our happy place...ENJOY!!!

I was just organizing my photographs from last year to make a 2013 album.

We have lots of great memories from the whole year of course, but the memories from Disney are particularly vivid and joyful. When I look at the Disney pictures, it's like I am right back there in the scene, I can remember everything so clearly.

:goodvibes

I love being a kid again without someone giving me a stare...the magic I am surrounded with makes all the planning worth while...

I love releasing my inner kid
I love having time away from work
Always something to look forward to:banana:

That is the sweetest thing I have ever read! I miss my grandma so much... She was such an awesome person...

I love seeing pure joy and happiness in kids eyes and I can't wait to take my daughter there. (we leave in 6 days)

I love being silly, feeling carefree and childlike. I can't wait to dance in the streets (main street) and eat ice cream, rice crispy treats and popcorn.

I am going to be the mom that cries when my kids see the castle or characters, with joy in there face it's like magic is right before there eyes!!

I love going because it seriously feels like a different world. I get to see and experience things I normally wouldn't get a chance to. I love the resorts and some of the restaurants are amazing. You can't beat Disney's attention to detail.

I love going to disney because I love watching my son when he sees the castle or space ship earth or he has breakfast with his character hero (tigger) lol there is just something special with all his reactions. This year will be his 3rd year going and I think it will be just as magical as the first time. It will also be his baby brother (8 months old) first time going and my older son can't wait to share all the magical moments with his new baby brother :)

I love Disney because it is the backdrop to a lifetime of memories for me. From when I was a child going with my sister and parents to my first adult trip with my BF (now husband), to our honeymoon, and now all of our trips with our kids. :lovestruc

We love leaving the "real world" behind for a week and a half. DH and I get on the same level as our kids, and we all have a blast together.

There is always something new to explore, or taste, or see. We just really slow down and take it all in and enjoy each other. Uhhhh, can we go right now????

August, August, August.....:cool1:

I love going to Disney because...

once we get on the Magical Express I don't have to think about getting from point A to point B. Disney takes care of it.

I can get the dining plan and not worry about how much spending money I'll need per meal. I just swipe that card (or now I guess I'll just tap my Magic Band).

There is something for my whole family, from my 68 yr old dad to my 7 yr old son. You can have a great time with or without the rides.

I love planning the whole thing.

I get to see my idol, Mickey Mouse, and all his friends.

I get to strike up random conversations with people from all over while at WDW. I can learn from them or teach them something about Disney. It's all good.

I can relax and just go with the flow.

The attractions I remember loving as a child -- Small World, Peter Pan, Jungle Cruise, and the Treehouse -- make me feel like a kid again, and now I get to create memories with my children as they grow. The welcome show and Wishes both make me cry. I rode Dumbo during Wishes right before the ride moved and all the adults on board sat unmoving in our seats for the finale and then applauded. How often do adults get to be children full of wonder at simple things?

MK also has so much for my DS, who gets dizzy from coasters, simulators, and spinning rides -- Haunted Mansion is his favorite ride in the world and he also enjoys PP, Pooh, Jungle Cruise, Buzz, PotC, Speedway, Tom Sawyer Island tunnels, the treehouse at night. Our perfect 7DMR would be an extremely tame coaster with amazing dark ride elements. Maybe someday he'll be ready to tackle BTMRR and Splash, but there's already so much more for him than the typical amusement park.

I love going to Disney because everyone has so much fun. All the things that Disney does right. Yes its not perfect but it sure is close. Not having to rent a car and drive. And watching my DD meet her favorite characters. The smile on her face is just priceless. I could go on and on about all the things I love about Disney

Disney World, Disney World, the happiest place on Earth! The place where a 40 year old turns into a 4 year old and a 4 year old sees her dreams come true! The place where fantasy comes to life and you can pretend for a few hours, days, or weeks that everything in this world is lovely and perfect! No amount of new Fastpass systems, glitches in Magic Bands or botched up plans can mar the euphoria I feel when I am there. I smile from the minute I drive through the property gates till the moment I drive out of them. And I am always dreaming of my next trip...:lovestruc
