i feel like spg lux card is the only card worth keeping. probably gonna cancel my marriott and spg biz this year.

although spg has the 4x category, i find my citi typ is worth earning over it, also freedom card has gas category with chasepay saving u even more money (76 is $.10 off a gal, she’ll is $.05off a gal)

I'm no expert in AA miles but Keep in mind that a Citi Personal AA offer will add to your 5/24 count. You could consider the biz card which would keep your 5/24 unblemished.

Also - were you aware you can use AA miles at 1cpp towards Disney hotels?

Thanks! Definitely not considering it right now. IDK why Citi is directly sending it to me At least it’s better than the public offer unlike Chase’s “wonderful” Sapphire banking promo I’ve been emailed 2x that’s identical.

My current plan is to do the CIP next month and then hopefully the CIC like 3 months after that if Chae doesn’t hate me past temporarily locking my account and putting funds on hold for the new savings/checking combo.

The whole Amex thing scared me off slighlty (for now) so I will wait for the best offer on a card I would actually be able to handle not to upset them.

The only personal card I would seriously consider using for slot 3 is the Prestige or Premier, if Citi will even give me a bonus before January 2020.

I’ve seen all the chatter about possible AA interest and now I understand. More Disney would be lovely!

There's been some buzz about picking up the Green on rumors from DoC about a possible refresh of the product: [Rumor] American Express To Refresh Green Card (4x On Gas, 3x On Streaming & More). Highlights include 4x points on gas purchases, 3x points on streaming services, and possibly Amazon Prime included. There's also a 15k or 20k MR signup bonus: Best American Express Green Sign Up Bonus (15,000/25,000 Points + 20,000 From Referral). I guess there's some concern the AF will go up (currently $95 waived in the first year) or the bonus may change.

Oh, now there would be another keeper card if they included Amazon Prime.

Does anyone know if a Netflix Giftcard has any weird restrictions? I once bought a Spotify GC and you could not use it on a family plan, which I still can't figure out why that would be a restriction, but now am leary of buying certain GCs. Just looking what I can do my last Staples offer on and thought I would try to use the RMN offer online with it. I don't really see anything else I might need. Maybe Target, but I still have a bunch left from the buy $300 for $270 deal awhile ago.

That’s my thinking too. I was able to use several 25K night rooms that were well over $95. I just don’t know if it’s worth hanging onto both the Lux and the Biz. My DH still has his Marriott. Maybe we’ll keep them all for the next two years while DD is still in college and we need the hotel nights.

It does end today. I keep going back and forth. I don't like that you have to buy $50 and have to pay shipping b/c if it doesn't pay out, I've just overpaid for a Disney GC and that just kills me lol! The only online Staples RMN offer I did tracked but never paid out but it seems most others have theirs pay out.

Yeah I think Dh is wanting to get Airbnb cards instead of Disney because you don’t have to pay for shipping

true, but SPG gold could be helpful too. i still think 50k room is still easier to use than 35k room.

I also tried the Retail Me Not offer paired with the Chase offer. I bought $15 & $50 darden gift cards. If all works out, I should get $15 from RMN and $19 from Chase. I've never tried a chase offer and we closest Staples is about an hours from my house and it's in the opposite direction we usually head, so the chances of trying to get anything in store for it were slim to none. Hopefully all works out!

I like to hold to that 2 month window. I got a CIU on 11/19 and want to get a CIC now haha. Waiting until 1/20 to process that application though to be safe...

I had to go to recon for my CIC today. I'm just 1 DP, but here are stats as perhaps a what not to do, lol. I was told too many new cards and too much credit (I didn't lower it, though it was below 50% income).
