Ok...Upon further review, requiring the flexible option here is a POTENTIAL MAJOR downer.

In my family's example...it adds $340.78 to the cost of the 8-day tickets to make them "flexible". So that ends up costing more UR points. If I buy Disney GCs using a BCP at 6% back and can save 12% on the Disney GCs, there's barely any savings using my CSR...

EDIT: I guess this cost component would vary based on your travel dates and may be a non-factor if you're going at the busiest (i.e. most expensive) times of year.

It's interesting to me, especially if the DL ones can be returned. We *think* we'll be going next year, but it's still pretty iffy. So this is something I'll have to think about. Thank you for the info and your analysis.

I saw that offer and had no idea what it was about.
Okay we just tried it. It was really strange and confusing but it did end up working. The cashier had no idea what we were doing lol. We walked up and he scanned dh’s phone with the barcode, dh said he wanted to put $40 in our amazon account, and gave him the $40. Now we just wait and see if we get the $10 added to our account as well.

Please explain. Where did you do this? How does it work? I am confused.

We are hoping our dd18 gets into the DCP for next fall, which means we will be making multiple trips to WDW. If she doesn't get accepted for the fall, I think we are heading back to DLR again in 2019.

EBates has 14%, Top Cashback 8.4%, Chase 4 pts and AA 4 pts.
Thanks for checking and posting.

Always check CashbackMonitor .com when shopping online: https://www.cashbackmonitor.com/cashback-store/harry-david/

I see Ebates is paying out 14% cash back at Harry & David today.

Thanks for the advice. I am very much a novice when it comes to finding the best deal on-line. I just started using ebates at the beginning of the year. Before that no portals:sad2:. What was I thinking!?!

I ordered pre-thanksgiving and got an amazing deal IMO. I used cashback monitor to see best portal - for me it was Topcashback. Trick that may or may not work - I have Shoprunner through AMEX benefit. The H&D says no coupons allowed if Shoprunner is used. However, I logged out of Shoprunner, applied coupon advertised on the site, then logged back into Shoprunner. That allowed both the discount and free shipping. So that, with stacking AMEX offers of 10% and $20 off $75, was a GREAT deal. My order was confirmed, portions have shipped already, and my credits have posted on AMEX. I may do this again before Christmas using DH card.
I have those same two AMEX offers on my card and DH card. I am glad to hear they stacked. I have about $180 to order so will be splitting between the two cards. Though I see my pears dropped in price so I may just have to add something to bring one of the orders up to $75.

On my SW cards the anniversary points went into my RR account a day or so after the statement closed...maybe call to see what up....if you wanted to keep the card you could also see if you can get a statement credit as a retention offer
Yeah, I've been thinking about calling but thought I'd wait and see if they showed up. I think I want to cancel so that I can try to get it again later, but not completely sure yet. I also have the Premier and Biz SW cards.

Did you see the anniversary points listed on your 11/9 statement?

No, I had 0 points on my statement, no spending on it during the statement period.

It’s called amazon cash. Dh thinks it’s a one time deal. He said he thinks it only works at gas stations. Basically you go in and say I want to put money into my amazon cash account. Your amazon account should give you a barcode that the cashier scans at the store. There is a deal if you load $40 into your account Amazon will give you $10. So basically we got 25% off by doing this because we spent $40 and got $10 back. We knew we were easily going to spend $40 on amazon today for Xmas presents.

DISNEY WORLD TICKETS AVAILABLE THROUGH CHASE SAPPHIRE RESERVE PORTAL (EXPEDIA)...

I am using the Sapphire Reserve. This is how it came up, was looking for Universal Orlando and just stumbled on it.
In the UR portal -> "Things to do"
Put in Orlando, FL with some dates.. I put February 2019
Click on "universal orlando"
Scroll all the way to the bottom and you see "People who looked at "Universal Orlando™ T..." also viewed"
"Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets"
It doesn't appear to be in the main list of activities, you have to look for something else then it appears at the bottom.
EDIT: With the same trick, appears Disneyland is there too. Just pick Anaheim, then Legoland.. Disneyland is there at the bottom! Disneyland also has no cancellation fee!

I also verified this and I can see them...very strange and almost feels like a glitch...Proceed with caution I guess...Seems like they ONLY have tickets with the "flexible" option so they will cost more than date specific tickets.

Thanks for posting! I went ahead with the DL tickets for my trip next May. The confirmation email says that they can be cancelled until 72 hours before the date. I was able to print the vouchers, so I think I should be set. This plus the deal on tickets for early 2019 (price was reflected on the Chase travel portal), I am feeling good about buying the tickets right away in case this is a glitch. Hope others are able to benefit!

I just googled it and it is a one-time offer. You can do this at places besides gas stations. I see CVS and 7-Eleven on the list. I may do this. Thanks again.

Got my Gold card today and was able to add the Amazon offer for 2000 MR for spending $50 to my card even though I just added it and used it on the Blue Biz. I bought a MacBook today so I’m super close to the Blue Biz MSR. I thought I would hit it today but I’m a bit short. I also realized my other big bill isn’t due until mid December so I can put that off and put the wedding deposit on SOs Blue Biz. I found out today tho that I can pay up to $5000 of my wedding in Disney Giftcards. I wonder why they won’t allow more but now I’m on a hunt to get a ton of Giftcards. Even though I can only pay $5000 worth it is a huge savings. Every little bit helps.

For Disneyland tickets, we really like Last Minute Travel Club. Discounted tickets/park hoppers and codes as travel for 3x UR or the $300 travel credit on the CSR.

I have my 3 AmEx MR earning cards added to Amazon but I don’t see my MRs under the point options like my Amazon CC and Discover CB $. Do I have to do something special for them to appear?

It's coming up on the CIP portal as well using the same method. The promo rate for Disneyland early 2019 is even available (3 Day Hopper for $260 incl tax or 20,800 UR).

Unless something has changed, the Anniv points will show on a statement and then transfer to your SW RR account a few days later. You don’t need to spend any money to trigger the points on the statements.

Is this the first anniversary on this card or have you had it for 2 years? If it’s your second year, you could go back and see when the points showed up last year. It would take some pretty strange circumstances for your annual fee to post without your anniv points - based on how it should work I would have thought it was impossible. Do you remember the exact date you were approved for this card?

Hmmm...4 day DLR park hoppers are $1259 on Last Minute Travel, and would be 94,664 UR points, which with the CSR is worth $1,419.96. What would you do? These points were supposed to be for WDW hotel next summer, but if we can't use them for that, we should probably use them for the DLR tickets and put the cash towards WDW, but I have a really hard time not getting top value for the points.
