LOL, I kept trying to check out with my Discover and get my 5%...then I realized since it was an MR offer it would probably have to be Amex (this dawned on me after trying to check out more than once). I felt like such an airhead

ETA if you have any questions feel free to ask. I basically do the watch videos and run the apps. I try to meet the daily goal each day. the best buy bonus helps right now. for $100 spend at best buy you get 750 sb bonus plus 200 sb for the $100 spend most of the time but currently its 300 sb.

ok so looking at the business SPG. Does this count against 5/24? Can you add a kid as an AU for free? What's the dollar value of an SPG point?
eta: the difference between spg lux and spg business. lux has 450 annual fee, get 300 credit, pp lounge access. the benefits the same earning benefits between the two?

Does anyone know the typical cheapest cost of the Fire HD 10 Kids 10.1 tablet? Like how much it was on Prime Day? Right now they are $249 for 2 or $149 for 1. Guess they could get cheaper for Cyber Monday but also I am a little afraid to wait since I have the 20% one MR point Amex offer and don’t want that to disappear if I wait. Thanks...

Does not count towards 5/24. U can add them as your employee. SPG points = Marriott points. they are worth around $.009 per point(TPG value)
SPG biz has an extra 4x category on gas, wireless bill, shipping and restaurants.

The biz will not count against 5/24 and I believe Amex has an age of at least 13 for an AU card. I think people list their value as around 0.9 cents per point. The lux will count against 5/24. I know a lot on here where excited to get it, but I am not one of those, yet, so can't tell you much about it.

I think it was last year on this thread I said that iTunes was obsolete and shocked that people were still buying gift cards. What do you do with them all? I remember @Lain said he bought Netflix? or something through there, but I guess I didn't pay enough attention. I probably have a few leftover kids giftcards floating around. They do not use them anymore. All the money they put into it over the years and they only Spotify for music now.

You might be able to buy now and choose no rush shipping...then it shouldn't ship before Monday. If cheaper on Monday, cancel today's order

Yep.I don't need Disney gift cards right away, so I've been stocking up on discounted Amazon gift cards at Lowe's and Best Buy. Got 20% off by applying a single MR point to my purchases, and paid with cards purchased at 10-20% discount.

This is exactly what I did as well. Works great and turned a 20% discount into effectively 30-40%.

I did this today, bike was $248 total on Amazon, with 20% of the final was $202.79, went to Lowe’s and got $200 in amazon gc for $180, then used 399 MRs to bring the balance to $200.

My CSR bonus went to pending today. Finished the spend on it Monday. That will put me up around 235,000 UR. I used some for 2 RT tix to PHX over spring break. It’ll be nice to see my total back up over 200,000 again.

Were dropping BIL off at the airport now. Then we'll probably stop at Staples for some Amazon GCs, to get the Tuft and Needle mattress to try. I figure if we wouldn't like it and it went back, I could find a use for the Amazon credit I've got about $2k left for the Lowes and Staples Amazon offers, and I'm tempted to grab a big chunk of Amazon cards before the end of the month... plus our prime membership and kindle unlimited renew in December

DHs SW personal came today, so he'll get that to use now. Also got my refurbished tablet today, and it seems to be working well, so hopefully that's $67 for it and a case vs over $300 basically for an ereader that uses mobile data (for my purposes)

Went to Kings Island (theme park) Winterfest tonight and renewed my annual passes for another year too (so more money).

I saw this. We already want to return to DLR. This ticket offer is so tempting. We won't be able to decide soon enough to take advantage but I think if dd18 doesn't get into DCP for the fall advantage, we will head west again.
