I love credit cards so much!

I don’t see the ability to refer on the Amex mobile app, but if you go on the Amex Refer A Friend site, log into your account with the card from which you want to refer, it’ll pull up all the cards with the ability to refer, and sure enough the BGR is referring for 20k MR per approval, capped at 55k MR/calendar year.

ETA: Refer A Friend option is available for only some of my cards on the mobile app.
Thanks! That worked, and my old version of the BGR also qualifies for the 20K referral bonus.

I think I just completed the bonus $1k for SW RR Shopping. Made a purchase from Kohl’s on that I may or may not keep.

And I have 3 Chase Pay transactions for I need to complete the final 2.

@disneymagicgirl i thought Walmart.com via SW RR worked with GCs but it looks like I was mistaken. I’ve tried twice and neither of the transactions tracked :(

Just watch out with the SW bonus..if you return anything it will be deducted from the 1k...SW takes about 2 months to post the bonus points to your account..I’m assuming to allow time for returns etc

LOL. I've already deleted the RMN app from my phone.
4 of my 5 RMN emails were flagged. I'm not sure why the 5th seems to have survived. I'll hold onto the app, but I've let go of any hope of a future 40% cash back offer (not that I really expected to see it again).

Amex must not like me...SPG Lux opened, I think, August 25th...maybe 29th. Still have ZERO points in my SPG/Marriott Account. I also just tried to transfer some MR points to Marriott and got the message "This action will not be completed at this time because your account is currently being reviewed to make sure all eligible purchases meet qualifying criteria."

I had a LOT of trouble getting sign up points on one of my cc with them last year, I forget which one or when, but they definitely gave me bonus points as a courtesy for the long wait. So that might be something to hint at/ask for nicely during your next conversation with them about it. (I didn't ask OR hint, they just offered because they knew I had waited a long time and had made numerous phone calls trying to get it resolved. It wasn't many points, but better than nothing!)

I like the person on Reddit who told you not to call...that you should just trust it. It's a bunch of idiots over there, I swear. 100 people called to verify...but YOU...YOU are the one who will be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Also FYI - if you are calling to verify the SW offer is on your account, don't sound suspicious. The best way to ask this is to just ask them for the date you need to meet the $2,000 by. Then just confirm it is 50,000 points. PRESUME that everything is correct and have them verify it that way! :)
That's what I thought lol yeah- I worded it via Sm like " I'd just like to verify the terms of the offer as....xxxx within 90 days" kind of thing

Do you have to get the email?

I was reading it fast when it came through but I don't think there was a special code anything. I'd assume you'd definitely need the Chase Disney tho.
I seem to remember a similar deal last year and folks were just calling and getting the offer honored. Worth a shot.

Check your emails - $40 Disney GC for those with a Disney Visa who call and do a DVC phone tour. Call is 20 minutes. Can't already be an owner. Call 888-627-3509 if you have a Disney Visa.

Apologies if already posted - I don't have time to go backward on the thread right now.
Thanks for the heads up! Called while running errands today. Pretty easy $40.

I hinted at it earlier. Even made a slight suggestion. Was told there was no way to issue a credit or points for issues. Amex policy and that the supervisor can't do it either. Now I highly doubt that. I will hold off for a bit before I go-a-blazin'.

We went and saw fantastic beasts 2 tonight and it was really good! Our movie theater said they no longer accept Amex though....of course. I doubt we will be getting anymore cards with them. We will probably just pay the rest of our hotel in Tokyo without points

I can't do it as I already have DVC...how long is the phone tour? Do they just talk about it?
It was a little over 20 minutes for me. This guy just basically asked me a bunch of questions about our previous experience with staying at WDW and then read a script (with a section tailored to the data I gavehim). I basically just listened (while driving) to him explain how DVC works and every few minutes he asked if I had any questions. At the end he said he’s send me more information and get in touch in next week. Pretty painless.
