I'm taking a last minute side trip to Vero Beach in the middle of our WDW trip next next week. I will be renting a car at the Swan for those 2 days. I was planning on using my CSR as I have not used the $300 travel credit yet. Please let me know if I am missing any other/better opportunities.

We have only been to Vero once, but loved it! You may want to keep an eye out on the red tide. The beaches have been closed, but the pool has been open. It affects everyone differently. There is a FB page Disney's Vero Beach Resort Rocks that discusses the resort. Have a great trip!!

We went to Vero for the first time in late January. it was soooo relaxing! Dh is talking about going back as soon as we can

I really enjoyed Vero Beach...we went for 2 nights...DH didn’t like it felt there was nothing to do...but to me that was the whole point of the trip to just relax

Went on the UR travel through my CSR card to check on some dates and it’s changed over to Expedia...need to learn how to navigate this site..

I’m seeing Disney hotels on Expedia but when I go to the portal I’m not seeing any Disney hotels.

P2 and I are both running the W&D 5k on 11/2. She's also running the 10k on 11/3. I will be doing no such shenanigans, one is enough for me.

I’m seeing Disney hotels on Expedia but when I go to the portal I’m not seeing any Disney hotels.

I haven’t looked for any Disney hotels...
booked a Marriott yesterday on the old site...it came up when I searched lake Buena Vista...but now that same hotel only shows up if I look under Orlando and vicinity and it’s a lot more URs today

Ive only been auto approved once for a Chase business card...the 30 days always turned into approved...but took up to a week....sending for “his” approval

No I was referring to all the chase pay transactions I’ve been doing for the bonus URs between my Cf and CSR and dh’s CSP.

Got the 20k MR from the EDP today. Interestingly, my charges had not posted - I was sitting at $99x.xx posted on the account, but I had over $1k total after factoring in pending charges. I've never seen Amex front the bonus when charges are pending.

In other news, we are headed to WDW to the Dolphin on Sunday. P2 is flying, and I'll be riding Amtrak (leaving Saturday night). I'll try to snap a few pictures for anyone who's curious. Not sure if they'll come out well at Union Station because it'll be dark when I board, but I can definitely take a few at Jacksonville when we stop there the next morning.

I have my Amtrak rewards but will probably use them in 2019 fall or early 2020, as I got them too late to get a good fare on the auto train out of Sanford in January. The room cost was double from when I first looked. I may also use some with the companion fare for a quick NYC trip in December. We will see after I get back from Disney.

i dont think u can add business cards to Chase Pay. At my local Staples, they have signs that say u must use your physical card if u were to purchase a gift card.

Just pulled the trigger on SW Biz for DH, time got away from me last night. Fingers crossed.

Now I'm debating how to use the Staples/RMN deal. Do I buy:

• $200 MCGC for $201.95 - 10% AMEX $20.20 - $10 RMN = $171.75 (85.9%) and use for regular spending
• $75 Disney GC - 10% AMEX $7.50 - $10 RMN = $57.50 (76.7%)

Disney is better overall, and really is there such a thing as too many Disney GCs? In all seriousness, even after wiping out over 2/3 of our stash for our Labor Day and anniversary trips, I'm back up to almost $2200 and averaging 30% off. I can't believe how quickly I've been accumulating them. I expect to need somewhere between $4000 and $5000 for the family trip.

i dont think u can add business cards to Chase Pay. At my local Staples, they have signs that say u must use your physical card if u were to purchase a gift card.

That's interesting. I've done Samsung Pay at my store, haven't seen any signs.

The half is the 4th. I'm just excited it's back to 3 parks since when I ran it 2 years ago it only went through epcot and ak skipping dhs.

Yeah, no Chase Biz cards on Chase Pay. Interesting on the signs, I used mobile payments a lot for gift cards with Amex offer this summer.

Makes me mad. Makes planning next summer hard. Was fine using URs for a night or two on site, but now I'm not sure that's worth it without being able to do that. Especially since we probably won't be doing AK... most likely just MK/Epcot. So I'm less concerned overall about FPs.
