The other was new Orleans. They made a much better deal out of that. Doesn't excite me at all. But I need a job. Hawaii is gonna be $$$ with only 2 sailings. At least I have plenty of time to buy discounted GC.I forgot about the announcement! Need to check it out now!!
Hit the RMN offers last night with Staples, HD, CVS, & Walgreens. Did two purchases or swipes at each...quick $80. All flagged before I even had my receipt printed.

Thank you! I don’t believe we’ve paid anything on the hotel yet. I think it was one of those where you pay when you get there. We did a park, stay, fly deal since we fly out at 5:30 am.In this case the Fidelity triggered the direct deposit requirement. There are banks that send money the same way as a DD so it will automatically trigger the bonus. DoC has a list for what's worked for most banks. Fidelity, and other brokerages, at least is explainable as income
Just putting out an option for you if changing your DD is difficult.
Yes, cruises are the sweet spot I think. That's how agencies can hand out so much OBC, or Costco with their GCs. Plus it's usually on a volume scale, the more business you bring in the higher the cut. Which is why attaching yourself to the right agency is important, and why some agencies specialize in a brand. ( and why some hand out so much better incentives than others)
Yep. Your status will update within a day or so of approval (a couple hours usually) so you'd be Gold in advance of your stay with the biz card. And unless you have a deposit or prepaid rate, you can just switch it when you check in. (Otherwise if you call the hotel they can update it in advance) You get the Gold earning rate in addition to the 12x what's charged to the card.
That had nothing to do with age and all about if you follow the NBA. I had no idea he existed until the commercial. And I keep up with top level stories of scores and I'll remember players if they're talked about enough, he was obviously not discussed enough in my neck of the woods to make a blipBut it is funny and I can only imagine how that went over on the court

Update on the neverending resort saga:
So I slept on it last night...and decided...YACHT CLUB and GRAND FLORIDIAN on the Disney Visa offer is it!
Contacted the agent this morning to make the change...Trouble Point - the refunds from the deposits made on my Disney Rewards Redemption cards could take 7-10 days to process. I don't have enough money left on the redemption cards to make new deposits...
So I asked the TA if we could make the deposit on my Disney Visa and then REFUND the Disney Visa and make a payment on the Rewards Redemption cards in a week. I think this is possible with Disney. Of course the TA is questioning the need to do that - "why not just leave the payment on the Disney Visa?" she says...
So I then had to explain to her that 1-2% is not acceptable to me, lol. I'm expecting to generate an 18-30% return on purchasing Disney GCs and using the right CC. Now I'm waiting to see if she's able to book this all...And the reason I'm going through her is I can get a $50 Disney GC for booking the package (and I don't want to walk away from the TA because she has done some work here)...
At any rate.........WHY CHASE...THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!!!!YOU AND YOUR STUPID URs CHANGE HAVE ME DOING ALL THIS STUPID CRAP NOW!!!!! Sorry...I'm somewhat frustrated right now, lol!
Oh man that would burn me up!! I was concerned too that my rooms might dry up before my TA got to it. Luckily we're locked in on a 3 day hold now.I’m so frustrated today too. I was playing around looking at AP rates for Saturday night thinking we could just go down for the weekend again. I found carribean beach for $150. I actually hate Caribbean beach but for $150 id tolerate it. SO and I were debating via text whether to go and if it was worth it. We decided to go and it was gone. If chase was doing bookings I would have just booked it. What’s 10,000 URs? if SO didn’t want to go I wouldn’t have even been mad losing that. But now I’m home for the weekend.
I did get it to the purchase queue but can't really find dates that will work with our school schedule that aren't ridiculously priced. $1000 for two tickets! I have two tickets for $704 but it Jan/Feb is tricky for weather and DS would have to miss a day and 1/2 of school and just can't bring myself to do itYou should be moving up...I sat and looked at all of the available seats and...decided I didn't really want to pay that much. So hopefully you'll get my tickets
ETA: I had my queue and the cruise announcement going simultaneously-a lot of excitement for a bit![]()
Staples seems the worst for hit and miss. It's pending on both our accounts from the last two days, but a couple weeks ago when we went DHs tracked and mine didn't.I have done the Staples RMN 4 times (2 on mine and 2 on DH's) None of them ever went to pending. Very frustrating.
I'm already moving forward with plans to begin amassing large sums of Disney GCs at a discount. If a month from now they figure things out and I'm sitting on $2k in Disney Cards I'll be frustrated all over again!!! HAHA!

I do genuinely hope they resolve the URs thing...but then I'll probably be mad again lol.

Since I acquire mine through the fuel program at my grocery store I have to space it out, LOL. We need to acquire $4,700 in Disney GCs which will generate about Six 30-gallon fill-ups. They expire on us after 2-3 months (depending on what part of the month they were earned)...and we only use about 30 gallons a month so that's why I have to space it out, HAHA!!I just started getting Disney giftcards too. I booked a 2019 trip in December at the Beach Club so I’m hoarding them for that. Most I have been getting at 40% off so I won’t be too mad but I’m also not sitting on 2k.
