How is that even possible? I'm pretty sure you fly out of the same airport as I do, and often AA is the only direct flight or one of the few we can find. I'm mad at them now and don't ever want to fly with them again... once I burn the 125K point I have with them anyway. You must fly United? (I hate them even more LOL).

I hope none of you ever have to deal with LG's customer service. Also note, don't buy a phone on Amazon because they don't care if it's outside return window so I'm stuck dealing directly with LG. Their policy is repair which means I have to send it with their label ground. Thank goodness fedex was fast and got it to TX a day early. But I've no idea what they are actually doing until Monday though their policy is to repair not replace. I have little faith.

If I had decided to forgo the over $100 savings by buying from Amazon and got it straight from AT&T I'd have a new phone now because of their policy. So frustrating. I won't change to an apple person but I do at least see the advantage since they have places you can physically take the phone to. But my over 13 years of buying LG products has most likely come to an end after this.

Until US and AA merged I had never flown them and had avoided them due to cost and to be honest, they can't even bother to fully paint their planes c'mon. My dad preferred United so that's what we flew. When I went to college in CA it was SW or AS back and forth with UA when I went to MI to visit Dad's side. HA or UA to Hawaii. Only started using US when I lived in NC because they had the non stops between CLT and SEA. I hate changing planes or stopping somewhere.

I never flew Continental and haven't flown UA since I lived in CA so it's been over 14 years. I generally don't even look at their flights any more sticking mostly with AS and DL because they have the non stop flights I want or the hubs I prefer. So if US and AA had never merged I still wouldn't have flown on them

Question about 0% APR:

I opened the CFU in April of this year. I wasn't thinking about the 0% APR because I don't normally open cards with that in mind. Under the Interest Charges section of my statement, it says that the 0% APR for introductory purchases expiration date is 9/1/19. I know this sounds so silly, but does this mean I could hold a balance on this card and not pay any fees if I pay it by 8/31/19?

I'm planning on applying for the Disney rewards (I decided on the no annual fee card - it sounds like it gets all the perks except for the 2%, but I have other cards that give that, and I can use a referral link from dischurners now) and the Discover It on Monday. Now I'm thinking, if I'm not happy with the credit limit I get on the Discover It, I could technically use this card too!

Yes.

Now, if you had one for balance transfers, you will probably pay anywhere from a 3-5% BT fee. This would be shown before any balance transfers are confirmed.

Yeah, for my travels, United always had the more direct routes and better pricing.

We were able to transfer our Alaska cruise from NCL to Chase today.

A few days ago we called Chase and asked them to PC DH’s CFU to CSR. They said yes and it showed up on the website right away.

Today I faxed the Direct Transfer Request form to NCL. Within a couple of hours I received an email from Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel with a Trip ID. It said to call at the earliest convenience to finalize the transfer process. DH called and had them apply our points. Since it did not cover the entire cost, she asked if we wanted to charge the remaining balance on the CSR. We wanted to but we didn’t get the CSR in the mail yet. She said we could call and pay the balance when we get the card but that we have until Feb 18th to pay it in full.

I just thought this information might be useful to anyone wanting to book an NCL Cruise through Chase.

Anyone with the Aviator Biz think the website is super crappy? Like it makes the Citi Biz website look stellar. Nowhere on the site does it say I’m on a Barclays site, it just says American Airlines in the corner. Weird. And it lists the “Company account” and the card we received like they are 2 separate accounts. One has a zero balance, the other has a $95 balance for the annual fee, and nowhere is the one charge we made a week ago.

Busy work week had me 30 pages back! Finally back to real time...

Amex welcome bonus offers are cyclical; they go up, go down, go back up again. This is the third time this year we're seeing the Hilton Biz at 125k HH, and it's not even as good as the previous 125k HH/$3k MSR offer. I think it's the first time the Aspire's gone up to 150k HH, and I fully expect it to go down and come back at 150k again. I want the Aspire, as well as the two other personal cards, but they don’t fit into my spend right now or my plans to get back under 5/24 to get another biz and personal card from Chase early next year. Now that I know Amex offers up to 150k HH on the Aspire, I'll wait for this offer to come around again and hopefully be in a better position to go for that card.

This is me. I really want the Aspire and the rest of the Amex Hilton line, especially now having gotten the Hilton Biz to start. I’m 4/24 now until May (thanks to the Lux) so I could technically squeeze this one in, but it would mean no SW CP until then. Though, I’ve been rethinking the need to even have it for the beginning of next year. Oddly though, Amex still hasn’t reported my Personal Plat that I got at the end of May. I already had my third statement close. Not complaining I guess...

Wow, you guys are close!! It’s one thing to see other MD’ers posting, but another to see you guys THAT close. I will say, I tried the Staples in Ellicott City by the Target on the first day, and the rack was cleaned out. All $200 GCs eres gone, others all there. However, I now wonder if they kept them behind the counter now

Thank you for posting these instructions and to @platamama and @SBWB48 for their advice as well. I followed these instructions and was able to make the payments to my student loan, hurray! I did have a small problem when signing into Masterpass because I guess I had already linked some of my Citibank cards. When I logged in it would only show me those as options and no option to add anything else. I decided to create a new Masterpass account with a new email address and that worked for me to add the MCGCs. I'll do one more set of payments this way before the end of the month which will really help with some AMEX MSRs!

Don’t forget there is a small “Change Wallet” button/link in the bottom right corner. This will bypass the CapOne and Citi redirects. I’ve been taking advantage of this promo as often as I can get to the grocery store and without making it too obvious to Amex. Thankfully I have 3 Amex MSRs to spread them around

I came right here to report that I still do not see my 50,000 bonus points pending on either my CSR or CSP when the qualifying charges posted on 8/22. Additionally, as mentioned by most, both CL were slashed. When I say slashed, I mean REALLY slashed. CSR went from over 30,000 to less than 10,000. CSP went from 20,000 to less than 10,000.

Should I be worried?

Ours was slashed too. I think from 60K down to 25K combined. I mean, I get them wanting to lower their risk, but to take it down way past the initial credit line on the first card was kind of weird. Not that it matters since I have no plans to put that kind of spend on them anyway. DH's cards came in and I think the MSR was met earlier, too, and still nothing. Posters here are saying this is pretty typical of what others are reporting since mid-August. I'll feel better when the points get posted.

This makes me feel better! I was going to wait to pay the cards off, but the utilization will be crazy high (80%+) with the CL decrease so I am going to have to pay them off in full and wait to start using them again until next month. Seems like so long from now.

My SOs got slashed too down to 4K on each. He had a high limit on Marriott and Freedom Unlimited but after they got slashed I lowered those too. Getting ready for his next double dip in December.

SO crappy. Also you can’t set up autopay. Or at least I haven’t found it.
