I love credit cards so much!

Have you moved UR points from another card to your CSR....

Have you done it before? If it’s the first time, is one of the cards linked to transfer to another already? Sometimes that causes issues.

I have only transferred points from my own CSP (now changed to CFU) to CSR before. This is the first time that I tried to transfer points from my husband's account. Will check if my CSR is attached to my CFU. Thanks!

If your CSR to CFU works, try CFU to your DH CSR. If that works, try your CSR >CFU >DH CSR
If that doesn’t work, try unlinking them all, wait 24 hrs and link CSR to CSR.

Maybe apply for one of the other two Chase business cards the CIC and CIU...are offering 50,000UR with no annual fee

Isn't that funny. I never really considered another Chase biz card. I'll look into them, thanks!

Edit- I just searched the Chase business cards- both CIC and CIU show $500 cash back bonus. There's a Marriot Rewards Premier Plus card for 75,000 bonus points for a 3,000 spend. That sounds great to me. Any reason not to go for that?

The $500 cash back = 50,000 UR points....transfer them to your CSR or CSP..sorry forget which you have ...I’m not familiar with Marriott so can’t help there...if your looking to accumulate UR points to book a Disney hotel..I’d suggest sticking with opening Chase accounts every 3-4 months to get as may UR points as you can..just watch the credit limits they give you...if your not using your older cards reduce the limits so your not over 50% of your income

What was it before? Just signed up since I have a AMEX $30 off $300 deal to use before the 17th.

It used to be spend $50 get 500 Swagbucks so 10%. I just read on the gift card thread that mypoints has 1500 points back for spending $100. Mypoints are worth less than a penny each (varies by gift card redeemed) but could be an option. I do mypoints too but don't use/earn nearly as much as Swagbucks. Off to research mypoints cash out options...

Edit - nevermind, mypoints now has the same payout as Swagbucks. Womp womp.

If you have another Chase Card with URs, the $500 from CIC or CIU can be transferred to those as 50,000 URs. Otherwise, they are cashback cards.
Marriott has had better offers for that card. Plus look into Amex SPG cards as well as Marriott as they have restrictions on those cards. If you get Marriott cards, you may be locked out of SPG cards (and they are now one company, meaning all rewards can be used at any Marriott or SPG property)

ETA: I see from a previous post you are interested in URs for a big trip. So CIC or CIU would be transferable to your CIP or CSP, as 50k UR. Marriott would be useful is you wanted to stay at Swan/Dolphin but that 75k points will only give you 1 night (50k points per night) and those points are Marriott points, not UR, so good at Marriott or transferable to specific airlines.

Let me know what you find out! I need to spend the $300 Amex offer soon. I did 'get' $10 as a signup bonus when I use Swagbucks first so maybe it might be worth using this time as 3 $100 transactions over 3 days. Amex offer says its one or more purchases with a total of $300+. I did just check out Best Buy on Swagbucks and found something close to the notice you posted but it says it excludes gift cards. Is that wording also new or just excludes Best Buy gift cards and not 3rd party?

Thanks, that's a good idea to look at credit limits and decrease where I can.

Hey! I was a hockey mom of two, also! Both of my boys played, my youngest starting when he was 4! It was great, but so expensive! Instead of family vacations, we spent our money on hotels and restaurants for hockey tournaments. Great memories, though!

Sorry, I edited my post. Mypoints is now showing the same pay scale as Swagbucks. So to me, at Best Buy, the current best deal is Buy in $100 increments and get back 750 SB (worth $7.50).

Edit to add - I believe it has always had the excluding gift card language. I think they only exclude Best Buy gift cards. I've done a whole lot of $50 Disney gift card transactions and gotten the Swagbucks every time. You will also get the 2% about a month later from swagbucks.

Lol..my son and daughter played through college....they are 30 and 27 now.....spent way too much much on league fees, hotels etc....which is why I’m so glad I found this group to help with travel expenses....

I could not get the DH CSR to my CFU to work. I am trying to unlink my cards on the chase website but I could not find the tab to "remove saved card". I had DH look also just to make sure that I was not missing it but he could not find that tab either. Sorry, we are such noobs :headache:

May just have to call and hope that chase can help....

Thanks for trying to help us!

@speedyfishy I hopped on earlier for just a couple mins and 'liked' your post about your trip and seeing you got engaged!! But I had no time to actually post to you a congratulatory note. I am so, so happy for you! I can't wait to read your wedding planning details and honeymoon planning and how you will use points to get it all done! Congrats!!! :dance3:

Hi everyone! I don't post much, but try to follow along as best I can. Here's what I have and when I got it:

Key Bank cc (I know...) 9/2016
CSW 2/2017
CSP 3/2018
CIP 5/2018

I also have various cards that are older, but these are my most recent.

My travel plans include a May 2019 WDW trip, but I'm really trying to save UR points for a 2020 US/WDW big family trip. My tentative plan is to apply for SW biz and personal at the end of next year to get the CP. So, I'd like a new card this fall/winter. I'm doing really well with paying off my student loans but I think I can swing a MS during the holidays. Any suggestions? I don't see any great Chase sign up bonus out there. I really don't know how I'd use AMEX MRs. We only fly SW. I'm not totally opposed to staying at Swan, but think it's more of a hassle with no DME. What I'm looking to do is get park tickets and rooms covered (in addition to earn RR points). Thanks for any input!
You could get some SPG AMEX cards. I’d have to review the language because they have some wonky rules about bonuses now. But we are doing first night at a value and transferring to Swan next day to get DME. Two 100K offers would cover 5 Swolphin nights

when I logged in I had to hit combined points..it then gives me the option to unlink cards...
