You can view points without even being signed in, so has nothing to do with your balance. Award nights might not available for the dates you're looking at. Have you tried the "Use Point" and flexible dates options? I think that's how I could see the list of available dates. Where are you looking, what city, maybe we can help?

Got an email from delta this afternoon, they've changed my sea to mco flight again. This is the 4th time. Apparently they can't decide if it should leave sea at 1015 or 1045 or get into atl at 515 or 555. I need to call them to have my connecting flight changed again so I'm back to getting in at 9 something instead of 8 something. Don't they realize I have an AP to activate and a race expo to get to that morning? So glad I haven't sent my flight info to my ta for dme yet.

If you definitely want the Disney card The $250 gift card is the highest I’ve seen...my daughter got a $200 statement credit after a $500 spend a few months ago. Don’t add an authorized user.....once you have the card you refer the second person for the card so you get another $250 plus whatever the referral bonus is.

Like @disneymagicgirl wrote in her reply there are other Chase cards that can save you $$

There are no DPs to support not being able to get the bonus if you are an AU. I’d add the AU. Also the referral offer is only for $200, the $250 was a special targeted offer for OP.

I have yet to venture into plastique but after paying with UR’s for the October WDW I need to replenish my supply! DH and I both have a CIP.

Mortgage is due on the 1st so this Wednesday. What do you all think? Do I have time to set up an account and attempt the payment for this month or should I wait until next month? (Understand I am asking this as a complete newbie to the system and how it works). Is it an actual physical check that is mailed out? Because it seems if that’s the case it definitely would be late and I should just wait and try in September. Payment is with my credit union so typically I just transfer the money over from checking to the mortgage.

The FAQ says you can pay with ACH but it takes 3 business days to process. You can pay extra (I think) to expedite the payment. So maybe if you set it all up tonight and schedule the payment it will arrive in time?

I just paid my first payment (ever!) with Plastiq, for my rent. I set the payment (via check, no electronic option for my landlord) to arrive by July 31st. Plastiq charged my card on the 22nd and sent out the check on the 24th. All their checks are mailed from one central location so I think they process it early so the payment definitely arrive in time for the due date.

ETA: so far I'm totally sold on using Plastiq. No more driving by the landlord's office to drop off a paper check, and I got over 3k UR points just with that one transaction! Well worth the fee just for the convenience in my opinion!

ACH payments are usually for recipients already set up in Plastiq’s system. For mortgages, you’ll probably want to set up your own recipient, for payment with check. Unfortunately, checks take about 7-10 business days to deliver and would not arrive in time for next month’s payment.

I’ve seen Hamilton. Got tickets at face value thanks to the Amex Plat during a presale when it was opening up in San Francisco. Have tickets to see it in Ft. Lauderdale this December. I’m planning to get tickets to see it in Puerto Rico with Lin Manuel back in the role of Hamilton. It replaced Rent as my favorite musical and replaced Phantom for DH’s favorite musical. DH and I have held entire conversations with each other using Hamilton lyrics. I’m obsessed with the show and I will see it in NY at some point.

We just saw Hamilton for the first time a few weeks ago in London. WE LOVED IT!!! DH and I agreed it’s the best thing we’ve ever seen. It’s coming to SF again Feb-May 2019. How were you notified of the presale last time? Did you sign up for a mailing list? I am not throwing away my shot to see it again!!!

We saw Hamilton thanks to AMEX Platinum, too (same city, too). I was very happy with AMEX when their concierge dept got us tickets after DH had to hang up while in line on the phone for the presale seats.

Glad you are enjoying Cursed Child. We love Harry Potter (esp. the books) but didn't love the Cursed Child book so weren't sure the play would be something we would like. It's too late now to get tickets in London (plus we aren't there for long enough this time) but we do have tickets to the HP Studio Tour one afternoon. Have fun in NYC! I'm hoping to get there next year.

We did the HP Studio Tour a few years ago. It is FANTASTIC! Plan on spending spending several hours there!

I’d be nervous about the 1 flight per day. Denver is Fronteir’s hub so that might help. Can’t beat the price for a big family though!
You’ll love Summit County. Breckenridge is a great place for beginner skiers. You’re close to Keystone too. Altitude sickness is something to definitely be aware of. Depending on what time you get into DEN, it ight make sense to spend a night there, or at the very least, don’t ski the first day. Stay hydrated.
How many days are you planning on skiing? YOu might check out the price of the Epic pass and see if it makes sense. We also enjoy Copper Mountain (also not far from Breck...but not owned by VAIL) where the prices are a little easier to stomach. They frequently have a promo with Shell gas stations and the Entertainment book.

For the frontier flights, that is to MCO, not the ski trip. It makes me a tad nervous to only have one flight available per day when I am heading on a cruise. I guess if we fly down 2 days ahead that may be ok. I won't risk it flying down Friday for the Saturday cruise I don't think. Maybe we will do our mk days pre cruise and just hurry home after for Christmas. I just hate getting off the ship and going to the airport...buzz kill.

Played with it a bit, basically what I'm seeing is if there a room available, there's a points booking available. So I haven't figured out a combination that doesn't show the points if they have rooms. Only if I do something funky with the#of people in the room i may get a call to book, but in that case it doesn't show me cash either.
I am seeing limited availabilities near the end of their booking window, which is end of July 2019. There are way more ''not available" hotels then I would guess for that time period so I think not all of the hotels have their full calendar up. But if I do this search in the app


I get a result like this


Hilton also does a points+cash option where you pick how many points you want to use and it calculates a cash price for the remainder. So some of the bigger redemptions might not be totally out of reach.

I want to see the Cursed Child, but I didn’t realize it’s separated into two parts! Are they two different sets of tickets that you have to purchase?

Yes, the play is in 2 parts. We saw both parts the same day when we saw it in London and then did the same for this show. Part one is at 2 pm and is a little over 2 1/2 hours. Then part 2 is at 7:30 pm and also about 2 1/2 hours. When you do part 1 and 2 on the same day you select that option when purchasing the tickets and your seats are the same.

I didn’t care for the Cursed Child book much either. The show is great!

Love the studio tour! I could have stayed in there all day.

Amex has a mailing list for presale events.

If Amex is involved in a presale then call them first.

You don't have time to get it set up for Aug's payment. I typically pay mine around the 22nd of the month. My mortgage is due by the 5th so that allows for any delay in the delivery.

Both great points about adding the Green and referring the P2. DH also doesn’t have any MR cards. And now the wait for the referral to post begins. Any idea how soon Amex MR referrals post? When I referred DH for the SPG Biz, it was rather quick.
