Checking in from Atlantis. I’ll post my overall thoughts when I get home, but so far not impressed. I think I’m spoiled by Disney service. I’m sometimes overly critical and can dwell on negative things so I’m trying to be positive, but so far I would not recommend.

The room is dirty idk if it’s me being picky, but the All star rooms I stay in are cleaner.

We went to the water park and the life guards can’t be bothered. SO and I went down a tube slide and they kept sending people down right after one another. The light doesn’t go red it stays on green. Idk if it’s because I’m almost a lawyer, but we will not be going back on the tube slide. It is so dangerous if another persons tube slams into us.

We also went out to lunch and SO and I each ordered a cheeseburger. SO said he would be getting the same thing as me and his burger comes without cheese. I said oh he wanted cheese on his burger too and the waitress said no he didn’t say that.... SO is passive and said I’m sorry it’s fine and ate it as is, but come on even if he originally said a burger and not cheeseburger you take it back and fix it.

Really regret not going to World or something, but I can’t change it so I will try to focus on making positive memories.
Sorry to hear things are not going well. I might to remove Atlantis from our list of places to visit.

Oh nice! This will be my first time actually being in the city, I’ve only flown in before. I’ll be horse showing the whole time. And I’m not sure on the 5th night, is that a promotion? We could only do 4 since I’ll be close to using up all my PTO by then. Really only needed 3 nights, but I didn’t feel like flying home that Saturday night and getting in after midnight.
You book 5 nights for 4 nights worth of points. You would have used 30K points for 5 nights. And you would earn that extra night towards your elite status.

I tipped both Amazon driver and bell services. We picked it up from them but also had three cases of water, refrigerated items and lots snacks.

ETA. We emptied two of our big suitcases and took those down. Loaded the water and food in and got it all back to the room that way :)

The driver and bell services are both handling my packages, so yes. Tip thro ugh the app for delivery and $1 per item to Bell services.

Thanks! Was not sure if they could accept tips I know some CMs cannot. I figured for room delivery they could but was not sure at the desk. Also good tip on the suitecase!

I *think* bell services is a tipped position. We have had to tip them at the desk many times over the years for holding groceries, water, luggage, delivered strollers...they have never refused the tips.

Anyone who is looking to book Southwest flights tomorrow...do you know what time I should be online, or should I say setting my alarm to get up? So not a morning person, lol.

Hmm what am I missing here? If I try to add another night, it wants to charge me the additional 7500 points?

ETA: I just tried rebooking and it shows 5 nights for 30,000!! Am I missing anything? I just book the five nights into Monday and leave that Sunday morning when I planned to? No issues?

They don't commit to an exact time! I start looking around 7CST...sometimes they are up...sometimes they are not!

It’s the 5th night free when you book with points.

Oh ok, thank you! I'm EST, 7 is doable. I was thinking it was going to be like free dining where it drops at like 4 or 5 or some crazy hour like that. To me that's still nighttime, haha.

Soooo 99k spg points are missing. I just transferred them to my linked marriott account but they aren't showing up there. They are showing as transferred out in my spg account. I have logged out and in several times. Suggestions?

OK, so oddly they show up if I sign in from the nights/flight package page, but not on the regular marriott page. So I try to choose the package on the N/F page and it gives me a popup. Says select quantity but there is nothing to click. I have tried 2 different browsers.:badpc: This is eating up too much of my time. I guess I will have to call to buy it.

Too funny--great minds today. It looks like I did my transfer for the Flights package a couple hours after you and had the exact same issues. Weirdly, the miles showed up instantly in my Marriott account and then disappeared. I finally had to completely sign out of everything and close safari before I was finally able to see them. The guy I talked to said that in rare circumstances they can take 24 hours to transfer.

I was tripped up by the "view" button, too. It looks as if you an order from that page, but apparently you need to call to order. I was finally able to get through to someone and now mine is all done. She was able to apply my category 6 certificate to a reservation I'd booked with points in anticipation. I'm so excited. I can't believe I"m getting a $1300 stay essentially for free, but for 5,000 miles if I were to have done a direct Starwood transfer to Alaska instead. Crazy!!!!

She said my 120,000 Alaska miles may take 2 weeks to show up.

Now I need to figure out a way to get 35,000 more starpoints before august to do another one :)

I realize this was pages and pages ago on this thread, and of course I'm too lazy to go back to look to see who actually posted it, but I wanted to thank whoever pointed out that face value tickets to Hamilton in Chicago are still available. I saw Hamilton in New York a couple of months ago, but I really wanted my kids to have the opportunity to see it too. (For some unknown reason, DH is adamant that he is NOT interested in seeing it. Whatever...) So I just bought three tix for the end of December to see Hamilton in Chicago! We had talked about going to Chicago anyway, since I've only been for work, and DH and the kids have never really been. We're planning a long weekend Thurs. to Sun. for the end of Christmas break. Tix are for a Sat. matinee.

I was just looking at the Hamilton tickets for the Kennedy Center starting in June. There are quite a few available on the site, but they are almost all $625 each.

First time posting husband apply for a Southwest cc got approve but he didn’t have a reward account it says it would assign one do we have to wait to get the cc to get in the reward account Does any one know he should of done it the other way

I thought the NYC show was at the Richard Rodgers Theater?

The re-sale tickets for Hamilton are ridiculous. I choked down a singleton for myself when I saw it in New York in Feb., but until I pulled the trigger on the Chicago tix, I had been looking at NY for the fam for early June and everything is well over $500 for decent seats. (We are going to be there anyway because we are seeing both parts of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, so that would have avoided planning another trip, but I just couldn't get over that pricing hump. We might up spending more overall with the Chicago plan, but at least we'll get a long weekend in Chicago to go with the price tag of the show tix!)

Yes. The Kennedy Center shows are in Washington, D.C.

This is the Washington, DC at the Kennedy Center starting June 12th. NYC runs also at the Richard Rogers theater (*I only know that because I was on the website earlier!)

Editing to add: these are the face value tickets.

Editing again: the stubhub tickets - some are like $350 (for the cheap seats) but opening night has them as high as $2400 each.
