Edited - I also had a hard time finding category 1 Marriotts.
I'm staying at one in Tulsa, OK this summer! 4 nights for 30,000 points.

Package delivery now has a fee (Amazon, Target). Groceries delivered to Bell services (Amazon Prime Now, instacart, Garrden Grocer) does not.

That's what I'm anticipating too. I'm at 28 nights with Marriott from 15 CC anniversary nights and 13 rollover nights. I have 4 nights (3 paid OOP, 1 free ecert night) coming up shortly, and I should get 10 nights from SPG when they combine in August, so I'll be at 42 nights by August.
Remember that award nights count towards elite status too, so if you have award nights planned those will go toward your count. I won't reach 50 nights by August, but have a 7 nt award planned in November so that will bring me up to 49 nights and I'll just need to get one more night before Dec. 31 2018 to get platinum status through Feb 2020. It's kind of funny, out of those 49 nights I will have only paid for 3 nights, the rest came from CC or award stays. Either I'll do a mattress run or spend $3000 on my (old) Marriott card for #50, I'm thinking for me the mattress run would be cheapest.
So I think the cheapest way to get to 50, if you have the points, is firstly to book award nights, then secondly try to find cheap mattress runs to squeeze into long weekends. I'd love to hear any other suggestions too.
I live in Tulsa! You could have done the 5 nights for the same 30,000, right?I'm staying at one in Tulsa, OK this summer! 4 nights for 30,000 points.
The one I found is in Kansas City, MO. We are going to the Taylor Swift concert there later this year and fount that awesome rate. I’m going to book 2 nights there at that rate. Leaving me with 6 nights. But I also have 6 months to get it done.
I tipped both Amazon driver and bell services. We picked it up from them but also had three cases of water, refrigerated items and lots snacks.Sounds like the Prime Now app gives an option to tip the delivery driver, do you generally tip bell services for holding it (Not room drop off)? Having three cases of water delivered, it won't be a small task for either.
Looking at booking a hotel through UR site. The room is $50 more per night than if booking directly with hotel. Even further, I was logged in at first under my CIP instead of CSR and the room is $20something less when I look through CIP. Anyone else have this happen? I thought about calling in, are they willing to match the going hotel's going rate? I've only ever done a Disney Resort booking with UR, in that case I called in so they could get my AP rates.

Similarly, I'm wondering if they'll match an airline cash rate if I call. Booking through Chase is $70 more than booking directly through Aer Lingus. I thought I might be able to call and have them find the rate on the AL website and match it.Looking at booking a hotel through UR site. Side note - I'm still trying to figure out when the elite night posts to your Marriott account. I THINK its in the month after your statement closes. I'm still waiting for my last one to post, so I'll confirm here when it does.

I want to pay with UR, so in the end I'm still getting a third off of the cash rate they're listing, which is a lot lower than booking direct. But I want a third off the airline price, not the portal price.Would love to hear about if Chase UR portal will match prices! I've noticed that the prices through the portal are not always the same as booking either directly or through another OTA, and I usually go with the cheapest/best value.
Oh no! Chin up, you're still on a mostly free vacation, right?Checking in from Atlantis. I’ll post my overall thoughts when I get home, but so far not impressed. I think I’m spoiled by Disney service. I’m sometimes overly critical and can dwell on negative things so I’m trying to be positive, but so far I would not recommend.
The room is dirty idk if it’s me being picky, but the All star rooms I stay in are cleaner.
We went to the water park and the life guards can’t be bothered. SO and I went down a tube slide and they kept sending people down right after one another. The light doesn’t go red it stays on green. Idk if it’s because I’m almost a lawyer, but we will not be going back on the tube slide. It is so dangerous if another persons tube slams into us.
We also went out to lunch and SO and I each ordered a cheeseburger. SO said he would be getting the same thing as me and his burger comes without cheese. I said oh he wanted cheese on his burger too and the waitress said no he didn’t say that.... SO is passive and said I’m sorry it’s fine and ate it as is, but come on even if he originally said a burger and not cheeseburger you take it back and fix it.
Really regret not going to World or something, but I can’t change it so I will try to focus on making positive memories.

Thanks for the honest review thus far. Cleanliness...safety...attention to detail...hmmm they are not doing very well are they.Checking in from Atlantis.
