I'm really thinking of the Amazon Prime card. The 5% off on Amazon is appealing - because I could get all my household and non-refrigerated grocery items that way.

Part of me dies thinking about taking a credit pull for a lousy $70 gift card tho. Any more, I'm in it for the long game value plays and anything that will save me cash. I wish there was an Amazon Prime debit just like the Target RedCard!

You could use (or get) a card that gets 5% back from office supply stores, and buy Amazon gift cards.

I just got a new SPG biz card and I set my kid as an AU on the card. The AU card came a couple days later. It has a different number than mine. It says to call and activate it using SSN and birthdate. Will that be reported on AU’s
credit report?

I was planning to ask DH to download it so we can watch it again on the SQ flight next month. Love the soundtrack and have made myself hoarse more than once singing along. Glad you and DD4 enjoyed it!

Really glad I picked up the citi premier and the 50,000 thank you points bonus. Just booked our flights back to philly on aa metal. Flights during “Jersey week” which is the first week of November are insane. Checked multiple airports and finally found a respectable fare (non stop afternoon flight) at a decent time. We are flying back from Tampa but don’t have to cut our vacation short or fly on spirit or frontier. Veterans Day is that Monday which also explains the sky high fares.

I booked through the citi travel portal which was easy peasy.

I would call in with both of you there and give it a shot. I did get a Disney referral added as an adjustment by doing that a couple years ago. The funny part was I was the voice of me and my wife on that call I had to keep the voices straight in my head lol! I Had to REALLY argue to win tho - it wasn’t easy.

We had to call recon when he applied and I tried to tell them that my husband couldn't talk from sore throat (lame lol). didn't work but i was able to coach as he is brand new to all this

I think his current Ink+ refers to the CIP, correct? So he could refer me from his Ink+ to the CIP and he'd get the 20k URs? Then we could cancel his Ink+ prior to the AF hitting....then perhaps I refer him back to the CIC next year after we've gotten the SW stuff out of the way...I want the Marriott card for a little extra topping off to my Starriott stash so I can do a nights and flights in a Cat 8 in Hawaii and get 120K SW points.

It’s been a while since I relied on the MMS blog for something useful. I will say MMS was invaluable to me as a newbie. I would have never tried for a “business” card if not for his step by step, circles and arrows screen shots. In the beginning Darius was my go to guy if I didn’t understand something another blogger was trying to explain.
