I just registered for Plastiq and trying to set up a car payment. What category to you use? I selected Other but that prompts a Specify Recipient Category, Recipient's phone and email requirement? My loan is through BoA so I used the format suggested for mtgs. Thanks!

The Raise app for iOS has Apple Pay, which would earn you 5x UR in mobile payments on Chase Freedom if you haven't already maxed out the bonus category.

I bought a $300 Target GC at 0.6% + $15 off using Apple Pay with the CF. I figure it's a little over 5% off, which is what I'd get using a REDcard, but that's spending I'd rather earn UR points on. Planning to use the GCs for everyday stuff I would've bought using the REDcard.

I received my brand new shiny AMEX Plat (I think it is twice as heavy as my CSR), and a nice little wood tray that you can flip over to hold a cell phone. I'm so impressed. I got an instant approval for Discover it but am sad to say I did not think to look on the DisChurner site for a referral . Can someone confirm if DisChurner is down? I just tried to go back on to look for a BCP referral and can't connect.

It's official, I have my first credit card with a CL below that of the $1800 card I got back in college! Hello Barclaycard Aviator with a credit limit 10% of what I was given last time I had this card. Thank God I'm not trying to meet a minimum spend on this. Fwiw, I noticed a missed call from Barclaycard fraud (according to google, half of people think it's legit and half think it's a scam, gotta love the internet!) but there was no voicemail. Decided to check my application status online before finding the info to call barclaycard from their website and boom! Approved with my lowest CL yet- I'll take it!

You guys might remember the horrible time I had with DH and his Delta Amex bonus posting? Finally resorted 3 months after minimum spend met to contacting them on Twitter after nothing else worked. Thanks to encouragement despite my disgust with them I wanted another Delta Platinum for the miles and companion pass and so I finally used his card to refer one for me. Well just meant minimum spend on mine this week; the charge that puts it over is still showing as pending. Yet despite that since we fly out tomorrow I was just looking at the Delta app and my bonus miles have already posted!!! So relieved don’t have to go through mess I did with DH’s bonus. He still hasn’t got the referral bonus for my card; but at least Amex likes me! For some reason I don’t understand his card caught the attention of Amex and their RAT team. Was thinking of having him get a SPG Amex but it does make me hesitate a bit. Not having the bonus post when it should is such a pain.

Woohoo! And perfect timing for me! Pretty sure I can talk DH into it since it's less than the last offer and once we pay taxes, it'll be more like $5k in 3 months. A stretch but we can be creative since we never tapped my backups like prepaying our insurance premium, etc.

Ugh. I'd probably have to do a few thousand in Gift of College cards to spend that much in three months.
