They still do! It's the Disney Premier Passport:

https://disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/premier-passport/
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passes/premier-passport/

Do you currently have a WDW AP, or were you planning to buy a Premier AP in November for F&W and use it at Disneyland in December?

I currently have a WDW AP! Our AP's expire on January 14, 2019, so we have lots of time for planning.

If we decide to go this will be something to do the math on.

Thanks for doing the links. I had just been on the Disney website and didn't see the ticket.

DISchurners Reddit Group Update - Now up to 90 Members

For newer folks - if you've heard us mention DISchurners, that is our private Reddit group only for folks on the DIS who like to play the credit card game. IF you'd like to join send a PM here on the DIS including your Reddit User Name to @SouthFayetteFan and @Albort and we'll approve you. Once approved, click this link to access the site: https://www.reddit.com/r/DISchurners/

1) You can see a list of all members (and their DISboards and Reddit names as some are different) here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DISchurners/comments/777y1j/roll_call_the_whos_who_of_dischurners/

2) If you are applying for a new card (especially Chase cards and some AMEX cards) consider using a link to support a fellow DISchurner. EVERYBODY is welcome to post their links as well so please share yours on the appropriate threads. This has been a great way for us to repay each other for all the helpful comments and information shared here! Just look for the OFFICIAL CHASE, OFFICIAL AMEX, and OFFICIAL MISC threads for links. We actually have links for non-credit card things like Plastiq and Ebates too! We recently did a survey of the group and people are definitely using the links and helping other DISchurners so that's so awesome to see!!!

3) @Albort has put together a nice wiki with great info and there a bunch of other posts that have good content as well so look around a bit if you haven't done so yet!

Also keep in mind that only people in the group can see your messages on DISchurners so that activity is not displayed to other Reddit users. This is a great way for us to keep things positive, share helpful (and somewhat secretive) information, and support new people in the hobby that also have a love for Disney.

Hopefully 2018 is a great year for all involved in our group here and there and you get all the approvals and points you need!!

Surprise for me in my inbox this morning! It seemed to me that all I was targeted for was balance transfer offers and I haven't had anything to transfer in years, so whatever profile they were using for me was 10 years or more outdated!

So, I got an email for 50K bonus for the Premium Rewards Gold card from Amex. Looked on the site and the public offer is 25K. Annual fee deferred first year. Reply by 3/23. Spend 2K in 3 months.

I've just finished up the spend for my Marriott personal card. I am sort of patient about applying for public offers, and this would not push me to 5/24 with Chase.

The 50k PRG offer is a fairly common incognito offer available regularly. It's definitely a good offer, I did it myself a couple years ago. The thing is - it is a personal card so it will count towards 5/24...Is it worth giving up a Chase card slot for this card (especially when the offer still will likely be there after you hit 5/24). Obviously you do what's best for you but I'd just think that one over if I were you :)

I think you are probably right as I'm not sure what I would do with 50K MR points. In any case, time to think about it and maybe something else will pop up now that this card offer broke the ice!

Debating if we want to get one more set of APs (have two AP vouchers at the moment and a set of 7-day PHs that dont expire) with this price increase chatter :rolleyes1...would obviously be hoarding for future use, but contemplating if we NEED/WANT 2 sets of vouchers. Could put it towards a min spend (SPG Biz) OR buy more GCs with ChasePay for 5X UR using our 2 CFs :ssst:

In case you (or others) aren't familiar with the AMEX incognito method...

Basically if you open up an incognito browser and go to the american express website then go to all cards - SOMETIMES offers better than the regular public offer will show up. If they don't show you can close the browser and try again. The 50k PRG is a pretty standard "incognito offer". You'll know it's an incognito offer if it says "Special for you" or "this offer may not be available if you don't click now" or something like that...

@calypso726 posted a while back their vacation costs for this year. She uses a lot of points, but they also have to pay out a lot of pocket for big trips, which leads to more points. Her yearly DVC dues alone are more than our whole vacation budget, and if she can pay for those and other vacation expenses and get 3-5 UR or MR points back per $ then she is adding lots of points while having fun. :-) She is a DINK so, none of these darn money wasting kids to slow her down. Haha

not to mention, she uses around 500k on those Singapore F Class! So jealous.
expect @calypso726 response in a Scottish accent... ;)

Well, that makes me happy that I got a targeted email! Cause if it had happened incognito for me I would have had to put my usual thought process into it. I would have to have wanted and been looking for the product before hand to jump on it!

For example, it took me three years to buy DVC! I started getting interested after an offer to stay at Hilton Head DVC in a two bedroom for $99 a night with a $25 gift card thrown in. Yes, back in the old days they actually did make an effort to market the club. When I went for my sales presentation, I didn't just get ice cream and fast passes, I got dinner for 5. And, since I was staying at Disney and bought onsite, I got part of my room cost deducted from the sales price. Still was hesitant but signed the papers. Now I could sell tomorrow and get the purchase price back and then some.

I don't feel that I could afford it today. I wonder if in 20 years it will be considered a bargain for the people buying in today?

LOVE THIS THREAD!!Ive been watching this thread for a while…have given my two cents a couple of times even though they were probably worth less than that…Everyone is awesome help here. Wish I had discovered this thread early on. But I need a bit of clarification on what is probably an obvious question. When I started this in 2016 I went in fast and a little uninformed. I am at 5/24 now thought I was at 4/24 but evidently not. I was just denied a Marriot.

My history : Visa Slate that I forgot that I had(2008) and probably haven’t used since then..

Amazon Card(2012)..Disney Visa(05/16)..Southwest Plus(06/16)..Southwest Premier(08/16)..Sapphire Preferred(07/17)..denied marriott(01/18)..reconsideration line said I have 6 accounts. I had forgot about Slate and didn’t think about Amazon.

One mistake I made was doing all the cards under my name rather than have adding my wife to the mix and spreading it out differently. My wife is 1/24 having only the Disney and a business Ink preferred. Not sure what we will do for her next. UR and Southwest RR will be our main targets.

But my main questions are

my Southwest Premier was closed before AF. Do I need to actually close the Disney and SW plus to be under 5/24. Or is it a certain amount of time after closing the account. What happens to current Southwest RR points if there is no Card associated with it. And will the Marriot denial go against the 5/24 rule. Should I close the Slate since I don't foresee using it I only kept it for Credit age.
Thank You so much for any help.

Blog Mickey had the proposed price increase up today. So it will be going up too.

Well if you have the funds I would. Of course I am the crazy person that has active AP’s and also had 5 vouchers and 5 non expiring 7 day PH’s!

That's not right, you should pull your credit report to make sure you are listing all the accounts you've opened AND all the accounts you are an AU on. The only cards that count for 5/24 purposes are ones you've gotten in the last 24 months. By this list you are 4/24. Usually, AUs you forgot about are the culprit when this happens and you can get reconsideration to recon your app without considering the AU accounts- but that can take a few calls. Last year for my CSR, the first 2 I did in the morning would not consider my account without the AU but I tried again at night (new shift) and the rep did reconsider my application without the AU account and I was ultimately approved.
**there is the slight possibility Recon failed at their job and that's not actually the reason you were denied, but I'd double check what your report is saying first

Ahh, I squirrelled away a bunch of tickets a few years ago because Undercover Tourist was making it so tempting to buy no expiry tickets. Then, I bought a few annual pass vouchers (DVC) from Disney directly before they went over $500.

So, I'm a proponent of buying them. My annual passes are on my Disney account but my no expiry are not so I can use them as I see fit.

A few trips ago, I gathered up all the leftover water park and mini golf pluses, and lone single day tickets I had and had them converted to the newer hard ticketed media, so we can do loads of swimming if we run out of theme park tickets!

If you are crazy I guess we are both crackers! I have vouchers plus some 10 day non expiry and seven day tickets as well. If I don't need them, family will use them.

Thanks that is what I thought but the Chase Rep insisted I have 6 accounts, maybe I will call again to get clarification. Thank You for the quick reply...

I'm with @gottalovepluto that you may be an authorized user on your wife's cards. I will also point out to you that even though you closed the southwest premier, it is still part of your x/24 as it hasn't aged out to 24 months old yet. So your 4 that are still under 24 months even though you've closed the SW premier, and two authorized users would make 6 accounts.

No where near the expert level here, but would be interested in what you find out.

like what @gottalovepluto said, i also count 4/24 for u. you might have an AU somewhere. i’d probably look up ur report. Call again. 5/24 only applies to 5 new card openings within 24 months.

As for your Slate Card, i believe that can be PC to a freedom card...
