Are there any DP on business cards showing on a credit report? How does that work with being approved for a business card if you are right at the 5/24?

For me, Ink+ never hit my credit report at all. Not even a hard pull... i do bank with Chase though, and my account is pretty active with them, so i think that might help.

Which AmExp are you considering? I am interested in the SPG I think

i would consider applying SPG before Feb 2017. its rumored to be going to Chase... haha

Oh ok. So, are you thinking if you apply for an AmExp business card...and hoping it won't count against the 5/24 since it may not show up on your credit report?

I am at 4/24 but may also be an AU on one of my dh's so no more Chase cards for me until Feb 2017. My dh was denied for the CSR even though he was only at 3/24 but he was an AU on two of my cards.

Exactly - thinking of applying for an AmEx business card now, and hoping that it won't show up on my credit report so I will be at 4/24 in January.

I've had the SPG Amex for years. In fact that was the only rewards we worked until the 2 CSRs we just got. I have a Biz SPG and a personal.
I'm hoping my DH's CSR card gets here by tomorrow...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

FYI...CVS is waiving the activation fees on Amex GCs this week. They don't sell Stop & Shop GCs, which is where we buy groceries, so I bought Amex GCs for grocery shopping with the Freedom, which is giving 5% at drug stores this quarter. I only bought $200 so far, but I'll probably max out the Freedom this week.

I'm so anxious about it because I need to decide if I'm going to go ahead and purchase the Disney gift cards before the end of December. If I was confident there would be a wholesale club category next year, I wouldn't even worry about it. Gah!!

well, i think Wholesale stores will continue to be a category for Freedom because Discover cards 5X still has Wholesale stores and chase needs something like that to attract people to use the freedom card over the Discover card.

im not sure. id assume all since SPG is now a Marriott brand, which has a deal with Chase.
someone else i know mentioned that SPG is suppose to sit with Amex for at least another year, perhaps through the transition...
its all unknown...

on the bright side, spg are with chase will be churningable!

Is it likely that, if I have an SPG AMEX now, and I would cancel it before it goes to Chase, would I be able to do whatever the new sign up bonus is? And if I let my SPG change to Chase, I would have to follow their rules and wait two years after canceling to become eligible for a sign up bonus? Just curious at this time.

Since I got the Chase Ink+, I've been buying gift cards through gyft.com as was recommended here to get the 5x back. The only bummer is that I'm needing a bunch of ebay gift cards, but they only go up to $25, so I'm having to buy a bunch of $25 ones. A lot of the other cards seem to go up to $500 - I just wish ebay did too. Oh well, it's still a good discount and I'm happy to have it!

yeah, and the eBay ones sometimes take 4 hours to process. I bought 5x$25 once... haha. I'm not sure why eBay GC are like that, probably to avoid fraud I guess.

Can someone advise how difficult it is to get a Amex business card as a sole proprietor?

Since I am in love with my credit card right now, I thought I would post my story. My husband's 100,000 Chase points posted on 11/19 and mine aren't there yet because I haven't hit the spend. We opened these cards hoping to use the points for flights to Europe in March 2017. Well yesterday (and Monday) there was a HUGE flight sale to Europe. I checked United yesterday morning and it was $393 round trip from Denver to Barcelona. So we logged into the Chase portal and were able to use 78,771 points to get 3 RT tickets to Europe. And they're good times and only have 1 connection! We are so excited. We were initially thinking we'd need both sets of 100,000 points to get the tickets and here we only needed one and probably have enough points left over on that one to get 2 nights hotel in BCN. We've already used the $300 travel, so we've basically spent $150 out of pocket for 3 RT tickets to Europe and 2 nights hotel in BCN. Awesome deal!
