I have to say that I have found my people here. I only know 2 people IRL that check movies/shows out from the library!
All the talk about small town dating is making me remember how DH & I went to the movies in the tiny college town we were in (met in college) in the middle of nowhere. The film ripped, and that was that. No movie to watch that night, since it was the only theater in town and it only showed one movie.

We also went out to dinner a bunch, but the options were extremely limited there. Went back a few years ago so DD could look at the school and the little town is so much nicer now with so many great restaurants.
I was wondering the same thing so I'm glad you asked. I guess I need to go do some research and figure out what that tradition is! On the 40+ hour journey from Norway to Reykjavik on
DCL this summer DH spotted some islands and I said I didn't think we would be passing anything at all. We looked at the ship map on the cabin TV and it was the Faroe Islands that we were passing at that point. I guess there is a reason why we didn't stop there, but I'll have to look it up.
Serious Friends fans here (we actually own the 10 seasons of that one). We are quoting it all the time. There are a few cute movies on Prime, some series, etc. Actually my latest find was the Adams Family (the original TV series). I'm hoping to show DD the first episode just for a little nostalgic fun over break.
