I'm intrigued, may I ask why? I actually have not scheduled trips that stop there due to the cultural tradition with which I disagree (not to be political or divisive-I just...can't. Of course I'm also the person who can't stand zoos or aquariums so I'm a weirdo!). What about them is #1? Truly curious and hopefully you know me (on line) enough to know I'm not being judgey!
Thanks I’ll have to check it out and see if I can find something to watch. We’re really bad about watching new shows though. We seriously rewatch friends and the office non stop.
We quote friends all the time too!!I have to say that I have found my people here. I only know 2 people IRL that check movies/shows out from the library!
All the talk about small town dating is making me remember how DH & I went to the movies in the tiny college town we were in (met in college) in the middle of nowhere. The film ripped, and that was that. No movie to watch that night, since it was the only theater in town and it only showed one movie. We also went out to dinner a bunch, but the options were extremely limited there. Went back a few years ago so DD could look at the school and the little town is so much nicer now with so many great restaurants.
I was wondering the same thing so I'm glad you asked. I guess I need to go do some research and figure out what that tradition is! On the 40+ hour journey from Norway to Reykjavik on DCL this summer DH spotted some islands and I said I didn't think we would be passing anything at all. We looked at the ship map on the cabin TV and it was the Faroe Islands that we were passing at that point. I guess there is a reason why we didn't stop there, but I'll have to look it up.
Serious Friends fans here (we actually own the 10 seasons of that one). We are quoting it all the time. There are a few cute movies on Prime, some series, etc. Actually my latest find was the Adams Family (the original TV series). I'm hoping to show DD the first episode just for a little nostalgic fun over break.
May: My epic British Isles/Faroes trip through an Alumni travel group with a friend for 3+ weeks. The Faroes are my #1 bucket list. As @Calpyso and @Calfan can attest, I was so bummed when our Disney Norway/Iceland cruise a couple years ago changed ports from the Faroes to Orkney. I've been to the Orkeny's four times, LOL. I'm supposed to go to St. Michael's Skellig (Star Wars island), too, but I think it's been closed to tourists so well see. I'm flying BA 1st class with Avios one way using Alaska miles (& $544) that I received from a Marriott Flight and stay plan, and I scored a unicorn on Delta the other way: Virgin Atlantic Upper class for 75,000 sky pesos and $5. I knew these existed, but I couldn't believe I finally found one.
Us too!! Everytime we go to a hotel, and we leave the room, it's always "GOT the key, no, got the KEY?" LOL!!! I also own all the seasons on DVD. Never ever watch them because it's on TV literally at least 12 times a day, every day.We quote friends all the time too!!
So cool that you were able to go. I received an email from our tour company a few months ago that this year's tour wasn't able to go--they had permission but it was revoked for all vessels. I'd love it if they changed it, but the email made it sound unlikely. Maybe it's s ship thing? We did the Skellig Michael trip a year and a half ago. We didn't originally have tickets but our tour guide showed up at breakfast and said there were some seats suddenly available. Our son-in-law gets seasick (they are small boats) so he and DD didn't go. I was a bit worried about my bad knees but I took my hiking sticks and was very glad I went. The website doesn't say it's closed, just that bookings will reopen in Feb.

My friend and I had a disney trip of pivot! to get on and off the rides. I'd have to go back to my trip journal to see which trip and why it started cause all I remember was laughing and then using it a lot
Looked at chase and my card is officially a csp and the af is gone. Nice to see it gone with the travel credit used. I'm guessing that means the csp af will hit on my jan statement around the 6th since it's not there now?

Omg I love when Monica puts the turkey on her head and chandler says “oh my god I love you”. Then he gets all freaked out by saying it lol. You should definitely give the office a tryEvery Thanksgiving we watch a few of our favorite episodes. "More turkey Mr. Chandler?" "Rachel you're NOT suppose to put beef in the trifle. It did NOT taste good." And "YOU were the hermaphrodite cheerleader from Long Island???"DD said she read an article talking about how it didn't age well, but I still find it hilarious.
I never quite got into The Office, but it sounds like something I should try watching.
I haven't put anything in mine yet, but I think I'm going to like it@amalone1013 - my wallet arrived. A week early from Amazon. Maybe they are making up for the last order that took two weeks. I'm not using Prime - just their free shipping as I'm not in a hurry. When I want something fast I use daughter's account, but that is very rare.
Anyway stuffed my cards into it - lots of space - but it will fit into my little Dooney that I carry just barely. However I feel very organized for this moment.

Can I be Mrs. Banana Hammock....? Or crapbag...? LolOMG I just remembered. Last week I was telling DH that we should sign up some plants and stuff for AA accounts just in case we want to join in on the GrAAvy train and he told me he wanted to sign up as Ms. Chanandler Bong.![]()
Where did you get that?!!"It tastes like feet!!!" ROFL!
This was the centerpiece at my Thanksgiving dinner this year...
I had to resort to ebay. I have all the others at retail, but had to pay over to get that one. That is my favorite episode ever, well tied with "the one with the prom video"Where did you get that?!!
