I'm sticking with the wheelchair for my dd too. She is 18yo now and technically could rent an ECV when we go but we don't mind pushing the chair - it's a transport chair and she's petite so it's easy...other than the hills in Epcot - You never realize how 'hilly' some parts of wdw are until you are pushing a grown person around lol. Plus, I know she has improved a lot but I also am not sure I trust her reflexes or just concentration in general for driving an ECV. She'd see a cute DisneyBound and completely run someone over lol!

My mom tried to back up and hit a curb in front of Beasts castle. Tipped over the ECV and it landed on top of her. Thankfully she ended up with just a few bruises, no serious injuries.

Soooo, Plastiq experts - I paid my contractor via my new Amex Plat Biz, but I had trouble getting it to go through - apparently you aren't supposed to be able to pay contractors via amex and Plastiq. I put it through as rent/real estate. But now the payment is under review and they are looking for an invoice. Pretty sure this is a lost cause, ya think? Total bummer because I would never have thought I could get through the 10k spend without this giant payment to my contractor. Any thoughts?

Insult to injury - I just got the "congrats, your transaction earned 1.5x points" from Amex.

I guess worst case I give up on the Amex and use my CIP, but ugh, not sure how I will get to 10k on Amex.

Do you have an invoice? I got the same request but I was paying with CIP. I sent a copy of the actual invoice (new roof) and it went through. I was not aware Amex restricted contractors

Yeah I wasn’t expecting that. I just saw people in 2014 got in using the Amex concierge service, but I guess people were abusing it so it changed.

So sad. We have had this card since 2010 I think. And were at DL with it before 2014.

OMG! I am so glad your Mother wasn't seriously injured. It sounds awful. This is why my Mom won't even consider trying one.
