I love credit cards so much!

I check in on upcoming flights every once in a while just to make sure there are no weird changes. Low and behold this morning I check on the Delta app and our fall flight to MCO was cancelled and we were rebooked for a 6+ hour layover in Salt Lake City and a next day 5am arrival. Aww, heck no! My fam is a wreck on overnight flights! Can't change on the app, online wants to charge us, call DL and I'm waiting for my call back in 2+ hours. Messaged on Twitter in case they magically get back to me first. Unfortunately the alternative flight has a before the birds are even awake departure that leaves us wanting hotel rooms the night before our flight. Dangit Delta!!
Wow - that is a terrible change. Was the original flight a nonstop?

Has anyone found the $25 Dis GC at their BB&B or BBB? I don't want to go to 2 diff stores to save 20% if they only carry $50 and I save 10%...I could do that at Lowes easier.
The one I went to that carried gift cards had lots of $25s. You could just call the store and ask. FYI I read they will split tender. (Personally I didn't try it because some other brands of stores in the area don't accept credit cards for gift card payment and I didn't want issues with a manger coming over and making up rules like that if the checker didn't know how to split tender.)

It was a bit of a system shock this morning- can't imagine what if would have been like finding out when we went to check in! No, we were scheduled with a 2 hour layover in SLC so it's not that bad. Now I'm wondering what the heck do people with 6+ hour layovers DO in SLC?!

Wow - well good luck in getting it resolved!

That is awful! I hate when airlines do this and don't even tell you. It's you and your time mean nothing. Maybe it's just coming out of Denver, but Delta always has the worst flights for us. Long layovers every time.

Please tell me that booking Marriott Rewards hotel stays is not going to be this hard!!! I am a little bit flexible as to which week I can book the Sat-Thurs 5 night stay in July 2019 at the Protea Paul Kruger Gate Hotel (owned by Marriott, on the rewards website, Level 2). The 50 week booking window opened today for one of my choices. This morning I checked at 7:25 and 7/13/19 (the first day I need) was available but I had a meeting, so I couldn't book it right then. Now 4 hours later, no Rewards nights are available for 7/13/19!!!

Am I going to have to book my Rewards stay one day at a time at the crack of dawn right when the 50 week booking window opens to get my 5 nights????

This seems harder than getting a dinner reservation at BOG! Help!!! Is there a trick to booking?

Just called Chase on my CIP to get the 100k match I was originally promised back when I applied in May. Some of you may remember that I don't have a Chase branch in my state, or within 6 hours of me, so the agent I talked to agreed to give me the 20k points once I met MSR. I just called and they found the note on my account approving it and he said he'll put the ticket in today to have those points credited to my account. He said it will probably be a couple days before I see them, so I'll keep an eye out for them :)

That's awful, Delta strikes again!!!! Our return flight from London last year, went from non stop, leaving at noon, to a change of planes in Amsterdam leaving at 7 am, with a nice layover. Um NO!
I hope you can find a flight that will work to change to!

Also, once again I'm really grateful for transferable reward currencies like URs. I'm really happy to know we can book hotel rooms at decent rates with our CSRs for the night before our trip without having to decide do we hit the trip budget or take the icy drive down the mountain to the airport at 3am?

Idk if this is well known but Chase Cruise and Tours was able to book me a AP discounted room rate. They could have also added the dining plan, but I don’t have enough points so when my next statement closes I can cancel and rebook with the dining plan.

Wow - great datapoint! I need to refresh the "churning for Disney" thread on DISchurners at some point and then we can add this info!

Can they sell you an AP? We've never had AP's but maybe considering for next year so just wondering how that works.

I was shocked. Sometimes you get a rep that says they can’t book Disney packages and other reps manage to get AP discounts. I signed into my account and confirmed the AP rate was exactly what she quoted me at. We are staying a Coronado at $136 a night. Nervous because it’s a construction zone but I’ve paid $145 for All star movies before so how bad could it be lol. The Grand Floridian is only $360 a night. I need more points lol.

I didn’t buy my AP through them. Only tickets that I upgraded at Disney, but I’m pretty sure they can book anything. Im also thinking they can probably book ABD trips and international Disney packages.

Where’s the lounge?
the airport itself is a lounge. extra space to relax, FREE COFFEE! everything else were extra! :P

amex offer.... strange I did the sams club offer I see it posted July 20 for 50/15....yet my page still shows the offer as unclaimed? any ideas why?
It seems like it takes awhile for the sams club offer to show up. I know a lot of people who had this happen but it does show up later.

Chase Ink Preferred - 100,000 point BRM (in branch) offer going away...(rumor)

So a friend on r/churning knows a Chase BRM well and has caught wind that the 100k in branch BRM offer will be going away on August 25th. That person is checking to see if the public online offer (80k) will change at all with this as well - I will keep you guys posted!

EDIT: When asked, "Do you know if the public bonus will be changing as well (down from the current 80k offer)?" her reply was: "No. I believe that is remaining the same."

they keep saying this, and every single time, it just gets renewed.

Well, I have to hand it to Delta Twitter team. I got a response back from them in about an hour and a half offering to re-book us on the flights I requested and they are making sure we get the extra legroom seats we originally booked. That was... easy. I tweeted them our confirmation numbers, names, date and route and what I wanted instead in the original DM and they're booking it and will email me the confirmation. Definitely use Delta Twitter if you find yourself in this situation!

if you have either offer on more than one card you can split tender on a $50 if the $25's are sold out. Of the few Bed Bath's I've gone to, $25 is most popular denomination option of any GC they sell, so I'd be more surprised if they only had 50's of Disney.
