I love credit cards so much!

It sounds like an excellent deal! Problem is that although I love wine, I'm more a social drinker - I'll open a bottle when I have a friend to have a drink. Then, since I am diabetic - it's one glass only. I have a stockpile in my basement and I make sure to bring a bottle whenever I go to someone's house.

I’m planning on giving them away when I attend a get together at someone’s house lol.

We got a Winc deal through Swagbucks and loved everything we got. I should do this one. What is the Vday code?

If you go through ebates and click the link for the $25 off it should automatically apply when you check out.

Ah! I hope this works, it was for Hilton and I accidentally almost lost my points! I made a quick Amazon gc purchase using their card so I assume that's enough? (I hope)

As long as it posts to the Hilton account before the expiration date should be ok. I'm not as familiar with Hilton but there's some times a grace period where if you're within a day or two it'll still work. And if it doesn't you may be able to get customer support to reinstate them given how close it is. Fingers crossed!

I just got four bottles of wine for $1.70. Ebates has a deal $30 back on your Winc order and a $25 off your first box for Valentines Day. The code is still working. The total after the $25 off was $31.70 but I’m getting $30 back from Ebates. It’s a subscription that needs to be cancelled but I thought it was a good deal.

Thanks for sharing! I just ordered!

I like Winc because it's so easy to skip a month. I did it for a Swagbucks offer like Jen but kept it and just skip when I don't need any, depending on if I've found any other wine offers... :)

We were planning on keeping our subscription, but they actually cancelled ours because of issues they have with Michigan laws and limits on bottles that they can mail to the state per year. I wasn't sure I would even be able to sign up again and it actually wouldn't let me order certain bottles but I finally found 4 that worked.

When did you make the reservation? If within the last 30 days and you have not paid it off you can.

Edit: Just saw the cast member rate... I have no clue, Disney prob prevents those from going to a travel agent. You have to fill out the Travel Agent transfer form and Chase sends it to Disney for approval, at that time they would prob see its a cast member rate and deny it so they don't have to pay the commission.

I haven't booked anything yet. Just assessing my options for our Disneyland trip in October. I didn't realize there was a form and commission probably is a factor. I just depleted my URs booking airfare so I don't have any to play with and try it. Was just wondering if I should focus on URs for our trip or other hotel points.

Hi All...I’ve been on these boards a while, usually the DVC ones and Just found your group....amazing stuff....thought I was doing well getting the SW points and companion ticket the last 5 years...

I’m ready to try for a different chase card, was looking at the CIP, since I do have a eBay business for the last 10years.
These are the cards I’ve opened in the last 24 months
7/16 chase SW Plus.. cl $11,000...husband as AU..I now know not to do this
1/17 chase Disney premier cl $18,000...hubby also AU
5/5 jared card...my name only ..mistake to open got a discount
9/17 chase SW business card cl$7,000... my name only
9/17 chase SW premier card cl$20,000...hubby as AU

Questions for you experts...when can I apply for the chase CIP card and should I reduce CL on any cards before doing so

I would also like to work on getting cards in my husbands name too...do I need to take him off as an authorized user on the above accounts first and what cards would you recommend getting in his name

We usually travel to Disney a few times a year...using our DVC points...my son also lives there now. Southwest is our airline of choice..we live 10minutes away from ISP so we make good use of SW points...us flying to Orlando and we also use them to fly our son back to NY

Thinking about a family trip to Hawaii in a few years so the Chase UR points look like they could work well for us
But I’d love to hear your opinions...thanks

Updating since my last post
I reduced my CL with Chase last week...applied for the CIP this morning...got the they will let me know in 30 day message...just called in and it says they will let me know in 2 weeks...

re paypal to spouse.... is there any shutdown danger here?

re paypal to spouse.... is there any shutdown danger here?

Several people have done it with Paypal and Apple Pay. You are probably fine, but I would have your spouse maybe deposit it to your account at a later date or let it sit there for a while if it doesn't make any difference to you. I think some people on Reddit reported issues with Paypal (not Chase) if they immediately transferred money back and forth.

Is there a fee associated with transferring using Paypal?

Thanks for posting this. We haven’t maxed out on the 2nd quarter because we’ve been busy with MSR. Is the PayPal fee 2.9%?

someone on here did a quick writeup of the cost... I want to do the whole 1500 at once but i'm nervous! Can I 'send' my DH some money back from my card too? or is that too much.....so far I've only done $750 bc I'm afraid of triggering something

I’d be careful. I haven’t used PayPal but I hear on Reddit they are a pain and can even tie up the funds for months.
