I love credit cards so much!

I have been playing around on the Chase UR portal to see what the points from my new CSP will get me. My plan was to use my UR points to offset WDW hotel costs. I'm a bit discouraged because it seems like the Chase portal prices are high! I looked at the price for a stay at the CBR. It looked comparable at 198./night until I realized that this is for a king bed room. We need 2 queens and the price of that is 289./night, compared to 222./night on the WDW site (it would have been 237. but there is a room offer). If I called Chase directly would I be able to get the price that's on the WDW website, or am I limited to only what they offer?

I’d call their cruise and tours department. It has been reported here that they can book anything you see on the wdw site.

Jean Chatzky is on the Today show right now telling all our secrets LOL. Not secrets, but telling people to sign up for new cards to get bonuses instead of using the card you have been using forever.

Congratulations! I guess you put down the right birth date after all!

Hahaha! I guess so! I remember one of the posters saying the other day she had put her social on her hubby’s app so I think that was in the back of my mind.

Has anyone added their spouse’s CIP to their own plastiq account? I am wondering if I can send the May mtg through on DH’s new CIP, using my plastiq, to avoid all the verification drama I went though to pay it on my CIP the first time.

I saw that too! At least she had all her facts straight!

I’m looking for some advice. I’m currently at 4/24 with the CSR, CSP, Southwest Premier, and United cards. I also have the Disney card from a number of years ago. I would like to apply for the CIP with my husband’s referral with a “business” soon if possible since we have some big expenses coming up soon. My concern is that I might be at the upper nd of the amount of credit Chase will extend because I have very high limits on both the Southwest and the CSP. I had to move credit to get the United approved. I am hoping to apply for the Southwest card again at the end of 2019 to try for the companion pass. Would you cancel that card now, and if so, how long does that cancellation usually take to show up in their system to free up some space? This group has been great, and I’ve been able to use some of the links in the reddit group to show my appreciation!

I saw you have until July 14?? I have until July 7. If, big if!, I can get my mortgage to go through, I can get 3 mos (may, june, july) and that will do it. I've put almost $1k on the card at this point, and my mortgage is $2100 month. Just need that CIC bonus to hang on for a bit longer than May...
The rep on chat last night told me I have 92 days from March 28th (the date I was approved for the card). Then I asked for the specific date, and he told me June 14th. Which I'm now realizing isn't correct. 92 days from March 28th should be June 27th. I'll chat again tonight to confirm. June 27th would be better since I could get in July's rent payment, but I don't want to make an assumption and then miss out on my bonus!

I haven’t seen a ton of dps for three. Do you have a true business? You could get an Ein and use that for the cic. Getting three chase bus cards under ssn I think is risky. I have two businesses so when I wasn’t auto approved for the sw I called immediately and then was approved. CIP I called again Bc I’m impatient and wanted to know. I’ll be applying for the CIC soon but I had the sw cancelled last month. If your dw has the CIP then I would cancel your CIP and wait 35 days and apply for the CIC. Since there’s a better chance of getting approved with 2 chase bus cards.
No, my "business" is eBay sales so I've been using my SSN as sole proprietor for my biz apps. Hopefully my DW will be approved for the CIP, then I can close mine before applying for CIC.

Has anyone added their spouse’s CIP to their own plastiq account? I am wondering if I can send the May mtg through on DH’s new CIP, using my plastiq, to avoid all the verification drama I went though to pay it on my CIP the first time.
I've added my cards to my wife's Plastiq and had no issues using them. This was for rent payments though, I know mortgages are trickier to get to go through.

Did you see the announcement on the SW cards new rules? Now to get a CP you will only *possibly* be able to double dip, or *very likely* do a biz/Personal combo.

Not sure how long the cancellation takes, but when I churned DHs sw card, I waited 31 days and that was long enough to open a new one. So I’d think even less than that since you are trying for a diff card. I would probably wait 14 days in your case.

Order yourself an "employee card" and use that on your Plastiq account.

So, this morning the automated status line has changed to the dreaded 7-10 days for my dh's SW application (it was a personal, btw). I went back over his Credit Karma. He had 3 cards fall off on 3/31, putting him at 4/24, and I thought yesterday would be safe because it's a new month, but do you think maybe I didn't wait long enough after those dropped off? I can't think of any other reason he'd be denied. I'm going to have him call in, but he's not sure if he'll have time from work today. I don't know if he realizes how important this is, lol. Are the Chase recon hours only until 5?

Oh, and I've been off the thread for a few days. What's this I see about new SW CP pass rules??? And I'm about to leave for work and don't have time to research.

Yes, I've added my wife's. I should create a plastiq account for her to get the fee free dollars but, for now, I'm paying my mortgage and car payment using her card through my plastiq account.

DoC is now reporting that the Plenti program is officially ending June 10. No big surprise to any of us I don't think, but maybe make sure you burn your remaining points up before then.

I just took a glance at the Reddit Churning forum. Well, that's just great. We've been planning on going for the CP this year since this whole 5/24 business started, not applying for new cards because we wanted it so bad, and then THE VERY DAY that I apply for the first card, they kill it. Fabulous. I'm afraid to go for Chase business cards because we don't have anything near a real business and I just cannot deal with talking to somebody about it.
