If I am an authorized user on my DHs AMEX Gold, can we transfer his MRs to my United account?

Amex MRs don't transfer to United. You would need Chase URs.

Already answered that MR can’t be transferred to UAL but I just wanted to add on that they can only be transferred to accounts in the main persons name.

Chase is the same way so if he had a transferable point earning card he could only transfer them to his UAL account however UAL allows pooling and you could create a pool and invite your husband and then he would be able to add those to your United Pool. Only bad thing I can see is that the Pool is only able to book UAL specifically and not partners plus it takes 24 hours once you add to the pool for them to be useable.

I wish other airlines would allow this pooling as it would really help families.

For both Chase and Amex, you can transfer to the partner account of an authorized user. For Amex, the authorized user needs to have been added at least 90 days before.

Thanks for correcting me. I was always told the opposite but with Chase it didn’t matter too much as we could transfer CUR between users.

Google Fi runs on t mobile? I'm currently on Mint, but live in a low service area and things are not connecting too much lately...I'm wanting to switch to a prepaid carrier that runs on verizon- anyone have suggestions? (my mint year is almost up)

Yes, but it’s the same spectrum and not de-prioritized. I worked in cell services many years ago. Basically, you only get a connection, and your speeds become slower after higher-paying customers access the network. So even though the marketing claims it’s the same service, it really isn’t. In my opinion, you get what you pay for.

How did you find out? Did they notify you or did your bill just increase due to no autopay discount? I have been doing every month as it’s still working as far as I know...

They notified me on screen when I paid my bill sent me an email too not worth it to me.

another question:
booking our Poland/Budapest trip for March.
used my csr for 1st night in Warsaw, Edit collection hotel (breakfast and $100) and used my msr credits for 2 nights in Budapest (breakfast and $100)
for Krakow, I can use 180k hilton points (diamond) or 61k URs or use amex. If I use ur or mr but put in my honors number will I still be seen as diamond and get breakfast? the hotel isn't part of Fine Hotels or the Edit so no breakfast included. DH is big on the European breakfasts and we usually wind up skipping lunch

I used URs to book biz class on LOT non stop. That flight never showed anywhere to use airline points, only with stops. used uniterd miles to return from Budapest biz class.

Trains don't seem to be able to book other than direct. Need to book the Chopin, over night train krakow-budapest and warsaw-krakow. any suggestions. most of the google sites put you thru agencies.

using tours by locals to book tours so paying for those!

I'm wanting to switch to a prepaid carrier that runs on verizon- anyone have suggestions?

We have both Total and Visible.

They are both owned by Verizon.

Visible doesn’t have stores and only has chat support which isn’t the greatest but they are one of the only prepaid providers that supports Apple Watch as we don’t allow DS to bring a phone to school.

Total Wireless does have stores. This is one of the straight talk brands that was renamed slightly when Verizon purchased straight talk.

Pretty satisfied with TW so far. We buy our phones outright and TW had a 50% off plans when porting your #. I pay $35 for Unlimited everything and Disney+ and Hulu with no ads. Plan is $30 which includes Disney+ with no ads but before switching to TW I started the D+/Hulu no ads bundle which is $19.99. The plan pays the $15 for D+ and then I just pay the $5 extra for Hulu portion.

Chase and Amex have offered several offers of 25-35% back so I have been able to apply the max offer to my wallet bringing my costs down significantly.
