I have, yes.Has anyone had a Chase offer post if you made the purchase before the expiration but it actually posted after the expiration?

Same here.I have, yes.
This is a super advanced strategy that I feel like not that many people know about. Congrats on doing the mental gymnastics to work this loophole in their T&Cs!My research was that I could get one of the following from AMEX: Biz Bonvoy, Bonvoy Bevy or Bonvoy Brilliant
Each of these gives you 6 months to hit the required spend.
On day 91 I could then apply for one of two cards from Chase, The Bonvoy Bold or the Bonvoy Boundless.
I need to finish the Minimum spend on the Chase card first and then the AMEX to get both bonuses.
I was going to start with the personal AMEX Bonvoy Brilliant which is 185,000 for 6K spend in 6 months and then get a chase card but that is where I’m torn as I would really prefer to have points over the FNC sign up bonus but the bountiful would not give me the bonus since I would have had an AMEX Card in the last 30 days.
The boundless ($3k spend) is probably the way to go with 3 FNC @ 50K vs just 30,000 points ($1K Spend) on the Bold
Also unfortunately neither of these 2 chase cards come with an Annual FNC that I was hoping to double dip with before swapping to the Ritz card.
I technically didn't activate my offer until after I made the purchase, but long before we traveled, and I was hoping the 20k would post, but like you, it has not. I sort of want to ask about it but it seems like so much hassle, especially since in my case it's iffy.Yep, completed the stay 11 weeks ago. Ts&Cs say to allow 8 weeks so we are well beyond that.
I wish they would match "companion pass" to something. I think Frontier matched that awhile to their highest tier.for those who have status with Southwest they are doing a status match with aa.

Jealous that you're ordering mulch. I'm still using salt in these parts.Walmart only lets me order 8 bags of mulch at a time with free "shipping." I sort of feel like I'm working the system by putting in multiple orders at once but I really don't want to pick it up.
Yes, you can sort. It's the pink button. It's under Credit -> Credit Reports. It's alphabetical (Chase is JPMCB), doesn't look like you can sort. Don't forget to check closed accounts too.
You'll need to check Transunion and Equifax too (both are covered in Credit Karma). I think the Chase biz errors didn't always go on all 3.
It should ALWAYS work. Most of the reports of it not working are just poorly trained front desk staff. The exact words to tell them are "split the payments and run it as an American Express."Using Hilton GC- anyone know of any datapoints for hotels that it has worked to pay the room bill at end? Like a master list somewhere? I'm eyeing the doubletree at Disney springs (or the other Hilton's there but I need to use these gc to pay.....

Most of them will look at you completely clueless but the gift card runs on the Amex processing system. They don't need any special technology to take them as payment, even if they think they do.

I will second this advice. I added mine to Apple Wallet, and as @WinterSolider stated they are processed as AMEX gift cards. I just did a stay and told them I wanted to use 3 “Amex gift cards” at $50 each. It worked perfectly from Apple Wallet, and I have no doubt swiping the physical card works as well. Moving forward I wouldn’t even say the words Hilton gift cards. It immediately creates too much confusion. It should ALWAYS work. Totally makes sense if you're running that route often. AA is rough because you can't really transfer miles to them. I know folks have had good luck booking with Alaska miles on AA - can get some really good deals if you hit it right. But that only works if you're into playing the mileage game with lots of cards (which it doesn't sound like you are).I haven't had a new CC in probably 10 years. I travel American Airlines nearly exclusively and I've been watching their CC offers. On my last flight, they mentioned that their CC doesn't have foreign transaction fees...and DD and I are going to Ireland in late June -- hotels are booked, but not paid, yet.
So yesterday a deal came through for 70,000 miles if I spend $3,500 in the first 4 months -- no transaction fees and the $99 annual fee is waived the first year. It's the highest mileage offer I've seen, so I thawed my credit freezes and got the card.
Part of me feels guilty because I'm trying to reduce the amount of credit I have/use, but for the transaction fees alone, along with the miles, I think it was a good deal.
I have to fly to Chicago (from central Florida) often -- I'm a hybrid employee and have to pay for my travel back to Chicago on my own dime, so the miles will come in handy as well.
Not really looking for advice, but couldn't really tell anyone (besides my daughter!) about it.
Check your flights. I dont know if people are traveling less due to airline events or what. But I have a DELTA flight next month and our flights went down. This is almost unheard of for Delta!
You shouldn't have to, no.Question about the rumored CSP SUB coming…I am an AU on my husbands card. Do I need to be removed as an AU if I want to apply for my own CSP? If yes, how long do I need to wait between removal and application?
ThanksYou shouldn't have to, no.
One thing that might happen with chase is sometimes they'll count AU accounts against you towards 5/24 though, but they've always worked it out upon reconsideration.
I didn't realize Delta flew from Iceland. I'm flying on United. Went to check out Delta's price to see if better than my current flight. Good thing. I cancelled a Delta flight Friday. Normally I get my miles back instantaneously but they aren't there. I might not have checked without your post so thanks inadvertently helping meThank you so much for this reminder!
I re-shopped our flights from Iceland back to the States this weekend and while that resulted in a modest return of skymiles, the BIG win was on taxes. Since Delta is now dropping fuel surcharges on flights from Europe to the US, our one way flight taxes and fees went from $236/pp to $61/pp! Had I not cancelled and rebooked, Delta wasn't going to let me know about THAT, for sure! The extra $350 was definitely appreciated. So a heartfelt
. If you value skypesos at a penny/mile then I earned almost $700 for a few minutes sitting on the computer-not to bad for this Luddite
.
Latest ink dp's? ds needs something for upcoming spend, but I just realized has 3 already (all 3 flavors) and I'm recalling I've seen no more than 3 at this point? he can cancel one easily but then he'd have to wait (sigh I've reminded him in the past to lmk earlier so he can get set up before his quarterlies are due) - if he has to cancel one how long is the minimum to wait for another app? Or should he just try and see what happens?
