Fixed my post. No retention offer. But I received my last offer on Feb. 28th last year, so I'll try back in a month.
Usually it needs to be at least 13 months from your last retention.

As mentioned, my favorite sock drawer card, the Aspire for Diamond status. The only time we stay at Hilton is with the FN certs from our 4 Aspire cards or using the $250 resort credits from each or points. We use the airline credits each year from each of them as well.Sooo is there any way to maintain/gain Hilton status that doesn't involve a stay?
I see there are new SUB for the Chase IHG Cards. (175,000 Premier, 120,000 Traveler and 140,000 Biz) Are these good offers? Have never had these cards before.
Almost done with my CP with SW with cards opened in Beginning of November and End of December. So, I need to lay low with Chase for a few more months. And I am 4/24 with 2 falling off in April.
DH is now at 1/24 so will be looking for a new card under his name. Not sure if I should try for another INK (he has 2 CIU And 1- CIC) with the increased offer or go for one of the IHG Cards.... Or Cap One Venture.
Hmmm.. what to do....
Tried again for AMEX Platinum and both of us "do not qualify".
From what I read - I think you can have 1 Personal and 1 Biz Card.
Can Anyone confirm this?
Was this around your renewal?Got the $150 retention offer (no spend) on the Southwest Priority. Need to call, but was easy peasy. They didn't try to go over the benefits like Amex chat often does.
Thanks. I’ll wait until month 25 or until there’s word of the Ink 90k offer ending and then apply if I’m technically past the 24 months.Reddit peeps report "your personal cards fall off the x/24 count on the 1st day of the 24th month, ie you don't need to wait the entire 24 months to the calendar day"
I do think though if you have to go to manual review or recon though, I have seen DPs where the agent won't approve until after 24 full months, if that makes sense.
Was this around your renewal?
I haven't seen any DPs about retention on SW biz cards. Have you seen anything like that? DH would have to call, so unless there are good DPs, I probably wouldn't ask him to. Keeping that card open primarily bc support points will post there, but don't really want to have to pay the AF, lol.
Thanks.Yes, AF already posted. If no offer I would have canceled in the same call.
I haven't seen any DPs on the SW biz cards either, only the personal ones.
Tokyo Disney knows how to do merch lol. They have the best stuff!Super excited to see some of the Tokyo Disney 40th merch, new character costumes, and other fun things they have planned, like a new parade and fireworks show. I totally forgot that is going to be going on while we’re there! I hope there’s a cool Duffy themed souvenir with 40th swag. I am definitely going over budget on this trip![]()

Thanks for all the replies - it seems the surpass also offer good status, af of $95? The aspire might be too high at for me currently... advice? I'm open to thoughts on thisAspire card
Well I don't care much about status( I don't have much ) but I booked an upcoming stay on points, and I'm only gold but that got us a free meal soend per day... however I'll drop to silver before my stay without another couple of nights booked I guess. So value I lose is $150 on that trip... not huge but was counting that in my plans... plus I'd love an easy way to get more Hilton points anyway- status is gained only in a paid with cash booking, right ?
For your situation, the Surpass makes sense. Golds and Diamonds get the same food & beverage credit, so being a higher status Diamond doesn't make a difference there. Thanks for all the replies - it seems the surpass also offer good status, af of $95? Thanks. I will have to check out some other places. Don't stay at many hotels. Usually Disney onsite or on a cruise. With my youngest graduating college in May - going to be harder as a family to go places. But easier for DH and I as we won't have to work around school schedules.I am a big fan of IHG, primarily for Kimpton stays. The 175k point offer is really good, especially bc IHG is unique and that card offers 4th night free on stays. I think your fam or group of friends would like the Kimpton Seafire in Grand Cayman. Check out my signature for a review. 4 nights can be had for 210k points, so that SUB gets you pretty darn far! Also, IHG frequently sells points at a 100% bonus, so the cost to buy points is $.005, so that extra 32k points would cost you $160 to buy.
Yes, newish in the past year, you can only hold one personal IHG card, but you can hold both the personal and the biz. I have both.
Surpass will give you gold. I'm honestly rocking Diamond status from signing up for the Aspire in 12/2018!! Thanks to covid I've been diamond this long. I have the surpass too and try to earn the FNC w/ that every year (normally just buying VGC and my car insurance, LOL). Gold and Diamond get the same food/bev credit. But I've gotten amazing upgrades as a diamond. And now that I'm technically an "employee" I like having the diamond status, LOL.Sooo is there any way to maintain/gain Hilton status that doesn't involve a stay?
That is one of the highest I've seen. I love my IHG card for the 4th night free. I use them every year in NC to take my kids to the beach, LOL. I've churned the cards too.I see there are new SUB for the Chase IHG Cards. (175,000 Premier, 120,000 Traveler and 140,000 Biz) Are these good offers? Have never had these cards before.

That's the new rule. I had all 3 (traveler, premier and biz). I cancelled the traveler so I can churn it at some point. I'll likely wait until the AF posts on the premier. We'll see. From what I read - I think you can have 1 Personal and 1 Biz Card.

I have this too. Did you just pay the bill like normal? The Amex offer didn't seem to work for meRe: Chase AT&T fiber $50 offer DP- worked on my wireless!
Just reporting back that I have a Chase offer on 3 cards for $50 off when signing up for AT&T fiber and making two plan payments of at least $50. I paid my wireless bill by phone, $51 and $52 and received a $50 offer credit four days later. YAY!

I've done windows numerous times. I really like Smith & Noble but used blinds.com on my current house (tight budget) and was very happy. This was the first time I've done faux wood and 10 years later I still am happy with them. I've only done 2" wood, 2" faux wood, and shutters so I'm not very knowledgeable about cellular shades. In an attempt to spend $15k on my new amex, I decided my house needs window treatments. I have lived in this house for 20 years and still have no window coverings other than sheer curtains in the bedrooms. Does anyone have any tips for a complete window newbie? My DD has cellular shades at her house. I kind of like those. My house is a mish mash of styles, so let's say eclectic.

I paid the cellular bill by phone, using the automated prompts. I can't recall why I started doing it that way when there is a coupon- maybe so as not to mess with the autopay? It's annoying, but it will save me $150 (3 cards), so I'll make the effort.I have this too. Did you just pay the bill like normal? The Amex offer didn't seem to work for me![]()
