AmEx has an online feature to make that request.

I thought it did but I didn't see it in the app. Either it's only on the website or I looked in the wrong spot. Paying bills tomorrow so I'll do it on the website then, thanks! Will be easier since the 2 cards I want to move it from both end in the same numbers. I need more than 3k on my surpass to pay my taxes, want to get the fnc.

Thanks Dh has turned into such a lounge person since 2019 that I can't see us hanging around a gate area for that long. MCO before departure last week was bad enough, but ORD is just horrible on all fronts.

I totally understand. When there is no lounge DH and I can be found hanging out around the gate complaining that there is no lounge.

Man, I had a Dosh booboo. I just happened to notice they had 15% back at Maurices. I don't usually go there but was in desperate need for some jeans and thought I would give them a try since I was in that area anyway. Found 2 pair I liked, YAY, and paid for it and looked for the cash back to pop up and it never did. I went back to check the terms and it says for Visa/ Mastercard only. I used my Amex as that is my MSR right now. Grrrrr, I have never noticed one specifying a certain card before. Now I need to figure out if I just say F it and keep them anyway or attempt to return them and repurchase. I am not usually in that area but will be close again tomorrow. But I will have DH with me and he will think I am loco for doing it. lol It is about $9.

I would do something like that if it wasn’t too inconvenient. I just repurchased security cameras on Amazon when the use MRs and get 20% off came around. Then I returned the first pair I ordered. That probably cost me more since I returned at the Amazon return in Kohl’s and ended up buying two sweaters while I was there, though one was on clearance.

I closed my amex hilton card a several months ago and now I regret it. I should have left it be - with priority pass and 1 night free + gold status. I could kick myself. Think they would reopen it for me if it's been under a year? I have to check but it hasn't been that long.

Just found new offers for BJs Wholesale on all my Chase cards - either 10% off up to $10 or 5% up to $5.

Think BJs has 3% standard discount on Disney Gift Cards - so opportunity for some decent savings with the Chase offer.

Well that’s not exactly correct. BWI does have a lounge. It just isn’t convenient to SW gates.

Double-checking here that I'm remembering AmEx's rules for cancelling and getting the AF refunded: if the AF posted on January 26, then I have until February 25 (30 days) to cancel and get the AF refunded, even though there's a payment that includes the AF due on February 20. Is this correct? It's been quite a while since I've cancelled a card but $700 is just so clearly excessive for the value that I'd be getting.

Ugh! I'm stressed about SW changing the public offer. I already did the business offer and am almost done with the spend. I was trying to do 30 days between apps for the personal card. Now I'm stuck with this offer. Here are my questions:

1. Does anyone know if the inflight offer has changed as well? I fly home from AZ tomorrow, I'll apply inflight if it is the old offer or an increased version of the current one.

2. If I do the current offer, I can meet the MSR on the personal in one charge paying for our car insurance that is due the end of the month. If I earn the CP with the current offer and then later this year hit 125,000 RR points will my CP be extended from 2/28/23 to 12/31/23?

Just trying to figure out my options. I really need the CP for an Easter flight.

I was on a SW flight yesterday and the inflight offer on the WiFi was 50,000 points. Hope this helps!

Ugh just got hit by the crappy southwest flight changes.

My Friday night non stop from Phl to Mco leaving at 5:30 and landing at 8 now had a 2 hour layover in nashville and arrives at 1 am. No thanks.

But I don't have a BJs membership and don't think I know anyone who does. I occasionally get mailers for discounted or free one day memberships. I always ignore them. Hopefully I will get one before these deals expire.

Same! We get more value from Costco than from BJs, so we only have a Costco membership now.

I was planning on signing up my college freshman on CK, but then noticed that since she's an AU on my Amex card, if I log into Amex as her, it tracks her credit score. She's also an AU on one of my Chase cards but since there is no separate log in, I don't know if they have that feature.
