Corporate AMEX membership points:

Hi all! I have 67,000 AMEX corporate membership points available to "do something with" in my corporate AMEX account. My options are to transfer them to redeem them for gift cards or transfer them. Of all of the places that I am able to transfer to - the only ones that I might consider are: Hawaiian Airlines or Delta or Hilton Honors or Marriott Bonvoy.

I have been accumulating these since about 2018 and always can accumulate more (might even have 100,000 by year's end based on my corporate spending).

Thoughts on how best to transfer them? Delta would be my number one thought with Hilton or Marriott being next and probably Hawaiian Airlines last.
I'd rather not redeem them for gift cards, but that's always an option -- there's a wealth of gift card options.

I'm not in the know with points:cash ratios at hotels so this might be a great option?

For reference - home based airports are IAH and HOU. We travel often to: PHL, MCO and the Hawaiian Islands. Could transfer points to airlines for airline points for Disney or Hawaii or could transfer points to hotel for Disney or Hawaii stays...

Could let them accumulate a while longer...

Any help or guidance is appreciated!
If there is not a specific need I wouldn't transfer them until I had a planned redemption or got a great offer for doing so. Hilton points tend to work out fairly close to 1 cent per MR for a standard room redemption. So any bonus on that is pretty good. Marriot, I haven't used for redemptions but it seems like it's been massively devalued in the last few years. They seem to be charging about the same point totals as Hilton for room but Hilton gives you twice as many points.
Thanks. Yes, I was not planning to redeem for gift cards, but it is an option.

Are you speaking of bonsuses on Hilton's end or on Marriott's end? How do I monitor that? I have to look at all of my emaills from Hilton and Marriott and wait for them to announce?
I get notifications from both AMEX and Hilton when they have transfer bonuses, usually they rotate every couple months. Although November and December saw 11 different transfer bonuses.

Thanks so much for this info. I don't yet have any reason yet to transfer them, but when it's time I would like to use them for the best redemption. I knew coming here would help elicit the best redemption responses. You guys are incredibly skilled on this board!

I have been in AMEX pop up jail in the past. I quit trying for new AMEX cards over a year ago. I do have a Delta Business Plat that I have used recently.

When I log into AMEX and click on check for pre-qualified credit card offers, the Blue Cash Preferred, AMEX Gold, and AMEX Plat are listed. Does this mean I am no longer in pop up jail for those cards?

Finished my dl msr quicker than expected thanks to dude's teeth cleaning a few weeks ago. Going to work at my freedom and Disney grocery categories for now. If I do another card it'll need to be an amex biz which at 5 cc will also mean cancelling one, prob my Hilton biz.

It's the bbp that's good for holding mr correct? And there's generally not a very good sub?

Hi all! Planning on booking a Disney trip in November this year. Accommodations are undecided, but going to either rent DVC points to stay at BLT or if that doesn't pan out, will stay at the Dolphin or Swan. All that said, we are current Southwest and Discover card holders, and haven't applied for a card in over 6 months. What card makes the most sense to apply for that will give me the biggest bang for our buck...rewards promotions, ongoing rewards, perks, etc. I guess, what's everyone's favorite card? :) Thanks so much for any and all suggestions.

I see talk of these pop ups all the time but I don't know what they are in regards to this. like offers that just pop up when you log in?

Pop up jail is when you go to apply for a new card and a message pops up that says you aren't eligible for the sign-up bonus. Some people might get it for one card but not another. Or with a different offer or without using a support link. While some just get it no matter what they do. The algorithm is a mystery. Theory is spending on their cards keeps Amex happy. More recently I've seen the theory floated that it's not so much the dollar amount but the number of charges. But 🤷‍♀️ .

We just got back from a 3 night stay in a poly studio. This is the first trip we’ve ever been so excited to drive home. The crowds and standby lines were insane and genie+/LL makes standby SO slow. We had lots of monorail issues to both MK and Epcot from the poly and TTC. Our passes expire in May and I’m not sure we’ll even use them again even though we only live an hour away. If crowds don’t thin out at all we most likely will let them expire. I never thought we would be in this position. Our ds is only 21 months and he talks about Disney all the time but this trip was not magical for any of us.

Correct. Current SUB is 15k for $3000 spend. There's a targeted offer of 50k for $15k spend over a year.
