And you might wanna avoid PCing it to the CFF in case you are thinking about getting a SUB on it soon, because there was some discussion when it first came out about only being allowed to hold one CFF. I guess you could always PC it from a CFF to a CF or CFU later, if this is still the case, and you wanted the CFF SUB.

I will earn enough pts for my companion pass when my statement closes March 12th. We have a flight booked March 27th which I booked my flight separately from my DH and kids to be able to use points. Both flights are sold out and have been for a while but I feel like I remember someone talking about using the CP on already booked flights. Is this a thing? Something we may be able to utilize, or no? Thanks!

Yes, but you have to do it very quick since once you cancel the flight, someone else could book.

I had to do that once with Punta Cana and it was nerve wrecking.
1. Cancel current flight for x
2. Add companion as fast as you can!

While we still don't have any travel planned I might as well restart! We have tons of Marriott and Hilton hotel points, airline miles etc but what's a few more!

Wineinsiders credited my Amex account $30 after I chatted with them although I don't think it's the offer redemption. They told me to clear my history and use incognito for future orders. This offer is more trouble than its worth - almost...I'm going to try one more time. At least we have an unrefined palate and the wine has been perfectly acceptable.

Ahh ok. That seems not worth the stress lol The flights weren't expensive and were booked with points. Thanks for clarifying! It's spring break and the flights that are left are outrageous if I were to lose our place on these flights!

Has anyone used Artkive ? Any feedback positive or negative? Looks pretty cool. Now that my kids are older they're not creating any more art but it would be nice to preserve some of their stuff from when they were little.

You inspired me to go look at Artkive, and what a cool idea! I've scanned my kid's art over the years but then that just lives on my computer and I never look at it. It would be nice to have it all contained in one book to easily flip through.

You can hold more than one, but unlike Chase biz cards, you cannot currently hold one and then apply for a new one.

I've never done it but I feel like I recall people calling in to do this and getting assistance that way. I guess the question would be who is earning the CP and who is booked on points? That would be the easiest way to do this... If you have the CP, and booked one of the others on points then I think you can call and get it switched easily. If you booked everybody else on cash, then you're going to end up with a credit in their name, but possibly still worth a phone call attempt. Also keep checking back... because space might free up on those flights at any time. If it does, and you have extra points... book your companion on points immediately to lock that in and then cancel their cash reservation.

Hopefully this makes sense because I'm trying to cover multiple scenarios in the same comment as I'm not sure how you're all booked.

When did you charge it? My credit from my 2/2 charge still isn't there. Wondering if this is caught up in the 2/1 credits not happening yet. I'll probably call/chat by the end of the week if they don't show up.


I set a daily alarm on my phone. Up to 35.

I charged it right away on Feb 1. At first I saw it on my savings tab and then it posted to my account.

Thanks for the Input! We are all booked on points,just on separate accounts as neither of us had enough to book all 4 tickets at the time. I'll keep an eye out for any openings, but I'm totally not going to stress about it and I'm ok with using the points if I can't make it work.

Seems like SUBs and Amex Offer Credits are on a go-slow these days.....but that is only because we are so used to Amex posting within 3-4 days. Even 12-14 days isn't bad compared to many other providers.

My experience has been that the regular credits - airline credits, Saks for example - have still posted within 3-4 days, but the newer limited time credits and Amex offers are taking longer.
