Thanks! That's good to know. Just wanted to double check though...if you purchase the GCs from AAA with your CSP, it should code as travel and earn 2x the points?

Guess I can't really say for sure yet, as it was put on my wife's CSR. But I gotta think AAA is listed as travel.

PS. AAA also does free passport photos if you have the Plus membership (that's why we were there in the first place). Of course you can always take your own, as long as you meet their specifications (that's what I did last time).

Any chance to get any nights at all this week to rent pts for a dvc studio? We’re not members so would rent, but access to washer and dryer would be nice. Is Last minute even possible? Usually I know answer is no but not sure right now.

ETA Actually never mind, not sure I want to go that route. I’m all discombobulated thinking of possibilities.

One of the things I also started doing is printing off a history of my points accounts, kinda of like a DIY quarterly or yearly statement, so if I need to trace back to something and the history isn’t available online I still can.

I like this idea. One could also take screenshots and save them digitally. I may start doing this.

The wireless credit of $15 credited on my Marriott Amex Biz card today. My wirless bill is usually about $18.xx, so it's almost covered for the rest of this year for a total of $165.

My old Amex Bonvoy also received it's $10 credit, and this will easily cover the $95 annual fee, leaving the FNC truly free.

When did you charge it? My credit from my 2/2 charge still isn't there. Wondering if this is caught up in the 2/1 credits not happening yet. I'll probably call/chat by the end of the week if they don't show up.

You’re asking a bunch of Disney fans if you should go to Disney? Of course! ...jkjk

Crowds this weekend sound horrible, looking at the calendar they might continue into Tues as MK is full. DHS is full until Sun so there you would have to park hop to do the park after 2pm so no chance at a ROTR BG if that’s important.

I went to WDW last week and had a blast, crowds were only big to me on the non-holiday weekend and I don’t mind the Covid spacing & cutbacks. If crowds matter to you this week is looking unpredictable so you would want to be able to go with the flow. I’m wondering if a new crop of vacationers are hitting parks this week since Mon is a holiday?

Staying in the Keys sounds like a good call, Disney might be a good call depending on your desire to do the whole Disney thing. Gotta admit if I was chilling down in the Keys on a mental health break it would be hard to switch my mind into Disney park mode.

Disney springs is busy. Universal is busier this year than last year this time.

And you might wanna avoid PCing it to the CFF in case you are thinking about getting a SUB on it soon, because there was some discussion when it first came out about only being allowed to hold one CFF. I guess you could always PC it from a CFF to a CF or CFU later, if this is still the case, and you wanted the CFF SUB.

An observation I saw (like a year ago, because I’m nuts and watch for these things when planning trips, lol) was that this year included the February trifecta: Valentine's Day + President's Day + Mardi Gras all in a 4 day span. (For reference, the last time this happened was in 2015).

It’s also February vacation in MA, RI and VT.
We always have the whole week of President’s day off. And typically tons on New Englanders head to WDW then.

That's a good idea. Maybe combine it with new bank account SUB? We did one for 5/3 Bank for $250 bonus a couple years ago.

Yep, I would personally just wrap that into President’s Day. It’s a regular occurrence for that area to have this week off (California, parts of NY and other areas do this as well). Lots of other schools do a 3 or 4 day weekend with families using that for an excuse to head to Florida (and some extend that with a few missed school days. These are all reasons why President’s Day is always the busiest week between New Year’s and Spring Break.

Lunar New Year too! Not that I'm suggesting that had an effect on Disney crowds but just wanted to point out that it was Friday. if we had been at WDW my kiddos would have had extra money to use for souvenirs!
