Thanks for the response. Signed up 1/28/19, AF posted 2/1/19, travel credits started 2/16/19. Last year, I didn't use the travel credits until May. Did it change between 2019 and now? Did I miss it?
Ok you are on card member year. (For older cards, applied for prior to mid-2017, the credit reset on a calendar year basis. ) I would guess that your credit resets on your Feb statement close. In your UR dashboard there's a section that will tell you exactly how much of the credit you've used and when your next credit begins.

In the app I tap the dashboard button and scroll down, then I see this section -

$300 Annual Travel Credit

Got it! You received your $300 Annual Travel Credit this year. Next year's $300 Annual Travel Credit will begin after your statement closing date in 05/2021.†

The website is similar, I remember scrolling through the dashboard to see it there too. But you have to look in the UR portal to see it. (Select your card, select one of the Ultimate Rewards links to open the portal, expand the Dashboard)

For me, I opened my card in April, my AF posts May 1, my credit resets at the statement close in May.

My provider will allow it. I am worried that Amex will get mad.

Late as usual but Amex does not seem to care or get mad. Between myself and DH we had 5 Platinum cards this past year. Plus two Greens. I split the payment on all those cards every month from the time the benefit was offered (May?) to end of year. Effectively we never paid the cell phone bill.

I was approved for Hilton Biz in December and just today another Biz Plat on the emailed offer I received in December (also approved). DH was also approved for a couple cards since I started doing that (Marriott biz, Hilton biz, and from October to December). So short answer to your question is if you have the patience to do it and your provider allows it then you can feel confident Amex does not care. They mostly just want spend on their cards. All. The. Time.

Hmmm did DISboards change the way we tag people? Didn't it used to be @SouthFayetteFan? Mine doesn't seem to be working.

In any event I am considering dipping my toes in the support link arena on reddit but I am not understanding about how to format them in the instructions at the top of the thread... is a PM the best way to get clarification or....?

ETA: I see it did tag him after all. Weird. Maybe it's because I am using a different computer. It used to be when I start typing "@South".... it would give me a little drop down of all the options.

LOL, I never could figure that out either. In fact, reddit seems so user unfriendly.

Well I think we settled on FLL. But the BF only wants to go for 2 days. I'll need to work on stretching out trip lengths with this man, LOL. Like babe....this isn't like a trip you're flying for work! We can stay somewhere more than 28 hours, LOL.

I think the issue is also that he's afraid because he's close to his annual check ride, which they can apparently require him to do on his days off. So he doesn't want to be down in FL when he gets that assigned. But I think he told me they give him 48 hours. So he easily fly back if he had to.

Or perhaps this turns into a 2 day trip with him, and then I just stay and don't fly back, LOL. Now to pick the hotel. I'm leaning towards using a FNC at the Conrad and then likely just using the FF discount if we're only there 2 nights.

I posted a question on Reddit under Advanced Strategies and Loopholes, at least that's where I think I posted it. Would love some advice if anyone has a chance to take a look. Thanks!

Read your question, unfortunately I’m not familiar with capital one so can’t help...hopefully someone here can

I am always paranoid about Amex msr. I used my Amex Platnium to buy order a yard sign for my DH‘s 40th bday next month. The company somehow charged me 3 times. They refunded one and I just contacted them to check on the third charge. Hopefully that will be refunded quickly. I will go over the spend amount this month and keep using the card since it has the 10xMR for groceries. They won’t care about the refunds right?

They don't care about refunds (as long as your net spend reaches MSR). Since you're going to be meeting MSR anyways, it's nothing to be worried about.

So for the Amex spend $500 and get $25 Dh suggested we PayPal each other the $500. There’s a 3% fee. Does anyone think this is worth it or see something wrong with this?

Still no MF credit on my Amex, just DH ( I did get the email though) and no Rakuten for either of us for Betterment, doesn't even have a checkmark yet next to the shopping trip.
