Thanks. I never would have found it. Went in through DH's CSR, bonus was only 5000, then went through his CFU, was 7500 listed. Clicked on the left 'shop Motley Fool' and didn't get the $99 offer, went back and clicked on the right where it said $99 and stuck in endless spinning wheel. Beginning to think I am not destined for this offer! Going to try a different browser next.

Yeah, I noticed that too. First try I clicked left side and was offered memberships starting at $199 and into the thousands. This was from my CSP and the offer was 6,000 URs.
Couldn't get in with Firefox, got in with Chrome to fill out the sign up form, but then it timed out before it gave me a confirmation, but probably it went through because DH got an alert that his card was used to spend $105.93 at Motley Fool.

I am guessing you aren’t a fan of their advice? Just wondering if I should even bother reading their report. Seems mostly information that is out there for anyone without having to pay for a service. At least it’s free for a year!
They've been in the online financial advice biz for a long time. I'm gonna try some of their picks and see how it works out, compared to what I have picked otherwise. If it really does me well, I might renew it next year?
YAY! I just did this on my CF (7500 UR) and immediately got the Amex email. I checked for Pending UR points (I found the place where they would be listed) but there is nothing there yet, except a note saying it could take weeks for this bonus to show up. Thanks to all for the tips!

Yeah, now I did mine, and I didn't get the Amex email immediately like he did. I got a "your card may not have been present" email instead. Hope it comes soon. I am impatient and hate waiting

I did some research on this yesterday because I just signed up for the AMEX Plat and I get 10x MRs for gas and groceries for the first 6 months, up to $15k. Probably the most I would spend on those two categories over 6 months is only $2500 so I was hoping to buy some GCs. I know per the black & white terms this shouldn't fly, but there seemed to be some DPs indicating that if you bought the store's own GCs (like Trader Joe's GCs from Trader Joe's) and maybe added a banana so that the total wasn't an even number, it might work.
