I can now see the $21 in my Google pay account. People that did the target deal in December, are you connecting a bank account to withdraw the money? I was thinking maybe I’d use one of my bank bonus (secondary) accounts for the transfer. But maybe somebody has a better idea.

We only have one checking account and I felt comfortable connecting it. I cashed out the $21 last weekend. Took 1 day to post to my checking account.

Ack.... quick question..... I just realized my new cc has a 3k CL... I need to pay a bil that's about 3300.... can I SM to switch some CL from another biz card to this one? thanks....

I just sent a SM this morning to transfer credit to my new CIC. They typically respond within 24hrs.

I was approved for the CFF on Jan 13 (last day of the grocery bonus.) How soon would you all wait to apply for an Amex card? I have 2 Amex biz and I put regular spend on them. I think they should be happy with me.

Things “regular” people will never understand: getting excited to go use your new CIC at Staples 😂😂

Received CIC yesterday, 1 week after approval. Not bad considering Monday was a holiday. I’m going for my 2nd Covid vaccine this morning, and lucky me it’s about 5 minutes from my Staples store. Feels like a productive morning 👍🏻

Thinking about a Hyatt mattress run for Globalist and just realized that if we can pay for it in advance would there be no way for them to check us out early? We don't plan on using the room and would like to avoid visiting it during the 9 day stay. Any thoughts or advice would be welcome.
Here is my experience. I’ve done three mattress runs in the last two months. I haven’t been checked out early for any of them. I check in, get a key, go to the room and leave the key there. I did want to see what the hotel looked like so I checked out the room. Last two Hyatts even had the opportunity to check out on line in my email. When checking in on line, I did choose no housekeeping. My stays were shorter -4 nights each. But I think you might be ok to just go for it. With COVID, I think they are less likely to visit the room if you do not ask for anything.

Well, Disney refunded my AP portion (faster than I expected TBH) but it went back to an Amex that has been closed.

I imagine they'll eventually send me a check.

Hard to figure out what I "should" have gotten because I originally went around October 10th or so on a 3 day PH, which cost me $372.95. Then while there I upgraded to the AP, which cost an additional $799.89 (so a total spent of $1172.84). I got approximately 5 months "use" out of the AP. The refund was about $750 so I suppose that's not bad, considering how badly they seem to have messed it up for some folks.

But man am I sad it's officially officially over now.

Got 4 biz tickets to Japan on JAL with AA miles! Never thought I'd be able to find that for 4. We need to leave a day later than I wanted and reposition to LAX, but I'll take it!

Does anyone know if I find a SJC-LAX mile saver award, if I can call to to add it to the LAX-HND flight for the same number of miles? Wondering if it's any mile saver award (within 24 hours) or is it only specific flights. Does it matter if the LAX-HND flights are on hold or ticketed?

So now I'm short on AA miles for the return lol. Reluctant to transfer MR in case trip doesn't happen. Looking at a Korean Air flight using Delta miles with a 6 hour layover in ICN. Looks like there's lots to do at the airport. But connections always say opportunity to me. Thinking about staying 2 nights. DH has mentioned he wants to go to Korea. But is it bad to complicate things with the uncertainty? Trying to think what can go wrong. Japan lets us in but Korea doesn't?

Thank you both. If there are any other "rules" I'm missing, please let me know.

All the articles talk about at least needing to do in person check in. Are you planning on doing that?

Yes, DH is planning to go there tomorrow and check in in person. Just wasn't sure about whether or not he would have to keep going there (it's not super close) off and on when he's busy and doesn't want any extra exposure. Thank you for your help!

Thank you for this. Would multiple stays have been better? It was tough to find something at a price we were ok with (no cheap ones here). Thanks for your help!

I have always just checked in and haven’t seen the room again since I do online checkout. I just hang the no service tag on the door and leave.

Does anyone know how many days out the Qantas flights open? Looking to fly 12/17/21.

The calendar is already open to early January 2022. I was using it to search for my Japan flights. But I don't know when Qantas releases their award seats.

Thanks. I am not seeing any direct Qantas flights to Sydney (even paid flights) so I thought they must come out later.

Since I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs before I can apply again, I sent a referral link for a CSP to DH. The reluctant P2 has turned a corner and has been asking me more about credit card stuff. Apparently someone on his trading board talked it up so now he's interested. 🙄

Any successful MDDs lately? Not sure if we should stop with CSP or go for it.

I’ve got $5 in Staples Rewards that expires 1/31

I did a CSR/CSP MDD in October! Instant approvals for both, IIRC.
