A question about Chase's DoorDash credit. I am looking at my CSR's benefits page and it says:

DoorDash Statement Credit*
Earn up to $120 total in statement credits on DoorDash purchases through 2021.
$0 Received
since 01/2021 (annual $60 max)

I'm sure this is a simple thing but why does it say up to $120 when the annual max is $60?

These days I feel like I need a spreadsheet to keep track of all the various new credits available on my cards. I do appreciate that the cc companies are adding these, but I also feel like they could just give me a statement credit without making me go through DoorDash/GrubHub/Boxed/PayPal etc.

The first $60 was for last year.

It was $60 in 2020 and $60 in 2021

There was an e-mailed Hyatt promotion for their independent collections, get $75 for spending $250 on the Hyatt card. I think I registered, but I'm not sure and registration's already expired. So I chat Hyatt to see if they can check. They tell me since it a Hyatt card promotion, I need to ask Chase. So I SM Chase, but they tell me it's a Hyatt and Visa promotion, so they're unable to check. I had a feeling I might get kicked around with no answer. Oh well. It doesn't affect my decision for the stay, so I guess I'll just hope for the best.

Tried to use the Amex Offer for $60 back on $300. Didn't math out the deposit and was charged $296. So I canceled that reservation and made a new one using my Hyatt card with 10% back. Well...no new deposit on the Hyatt and no refund on the Amex yet. It's been 5 days. Hope at least the refund comes through.

I feel like AmEx is stringing me along with the $500/$25 offer. I made one purchase of $500+ on 1/7 and got an email right away that I had used the offer. Made another purchase on 1/10 but no email. Two $25 credits posted on 1/15 so I made another purchase on 1/16. No email and so far no credit. Ugh. I have a few more purchases I could use this offer for but I'm hesitant at this point.
They definitely have been taking longer. My 1/6 purchase just posted on 1/20, along with 2 purchases on 1/12 that the credit also posted on 1/20. If you have other purchases to use it I wouldn't hesitate. I'm sure they'll post, just have been taking a while. Emails have always been hit or miss. I didn't get one for the first one.

Yes - it was a VISA promotion so you would need to call them - of course, I didn't register and then 48 hours after the registration deadline decide to book a stay that would have qualified. Not a huge loss - will use the Amex offer instead.

On the Amex offer - it is spend $300 in one or more transactions - so your $296 would have counted and then you could have just bought a snack at reception/drink at the bar etc to take you over the $300.

Is the $25 back on $500 offer for Blue Biz Plus good for each cardholder to redeem 10x or is it total between cardholders? From the terms all I understood was that I needed to add it to both cards if I was planning to redeem using employee cards. I'll take the extra $250 in statement credits if I can do 10 purchases on my employee card as well!

I paid made the final payment for dd's second semester today! I am looking forward to 110,000 URs (the 50,000 on the CSR are already showing on my dashboard)!

I am contemplating how to best use my last 5/24 slot (I am saving the slot coming open in April for a Chase Aeroplan) -- not an easy decision since I will be locked out until January 25, 2022. Thinking of trying for the AmEx gold (if I'm not locked out since I held from 2010 - 2015).

I believe that you need to add the offer to each card separately--adding it to your card means that the offer will work for your card but not employee cards. However, be sure to check your employee cards--offers are often (but not always) available both for your card and for employee cards.

I have used this offer four times so far and it took 4-5 days to show the $25 credit. I didn't get emails until a few days after the charges.

Thinking about a Hyatt mattress run for Globalist and just realized that if we can pay for it in advance would there be no way for them to check us out early? We don't plan on using the room and would like to avoid visiting it during the 9 day stay. Any thoughts or advice would be welcome.

Amex AOs are generally by SSN. That said to be safe max yours and then try 1 on your employee card and see if it triggers before going all in.

All the articles talk about at least needing to do in person check in. Are you planning on doing that?

I can now see the $21 in my Google pay account. People that did the target deal in December, are you connecting a bank account to withdraw the money? I was thinking maybe I’d use one of my bank bonus (secondary) accounts for the transfer. But maybe somebody has a better idea.

Ack.... quick question..... I just realized my new cc has a 3k CL... I need to pay a bil that's about 3300.... can I SM to switch some CL from another biz card to this one? thanks....
