So, some time back I got an email saying my 'old' Hyatt card would be changed into a new World of Hyatt card.

This morning I have a $50 annual fee refund on my card account. I do intend to churn this card and get a sign up bonus, but I've been waiting to time the card so that my free night arrives when I wish it to. So, now, first I will spend the credit - at Sam's Club to see if it will generate an offer credit and then I will cancel either in March or when they get around to charging the higher fee.

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere.

I have about 5 Chase cards. Suddenly in the last couple of months I've been getting photocopies of statements in the MAIL that say "our emails to you come back undeliverable" or something along those lines. (Paperless billing has been set up on all of them). So just now I logged into my Chase accounts and am trying to, once again, check the boxes for every single card and confirm my email address..x. which is already correct. It even says "this is your primary email address" (in fact it's my only email address I have on file with them).

Is this just Chase being weird or is there something else I should know? I feel like my resident experts can reassure me.

Thank you.

Recently I’ve been getting more statements by mail from Chase despite me having checked paperless on all my accounts. They are real Chase statements and I’ve gotten the “our emails...” response too. It used to be just one account out of 15+ Chase accounts, then this past two weeks I’d say, I’ve gotten more paper statements. The information is correct on the statement as well as online so I just shrug and shred them. If they want to waste paper and postage 🤷‍♀️

I get this on every single chase business card I have. It’s been going on for years.

I don’t worry about it.

The same thing happened to me several months ago, but with two of my biz accounts. It makes no sense since all of my other cards' statements are delivered electronically with no issues. I verified my info several times and the same things kept happening. I was frustrated so I ended up turning off electronic statements for the accounts having issues. Now I'm getting paper statements for those two. If you figure out a solution, please let me know.

It took about 150 days for me. I had given up on it thinking that PayPal wasn’t going to qualify as a valid funding source.
Ugh! I wonder if it’s ok to transfer some funds out? Not that my other account is getting much better interest but definitely better than Citi.

I get this all the time, but only on biz cards. I have checked and double checked emails and they are all correct and I only see one spot for emails so all cards should be under the same one but only certain cards get mailed. :confused3

I get paper statements for my biz cards also. I just ignore and shred since my settings are all correct.

I had a similar offer on a Barclay card in Dec. I made the spend the first month and got nothing. I emailed them and they sent back that the bonus will post 6-8 weeks after the promotion ended. I went back and reread the email and it does state that in the details. I forget when it ends, maybe Jan. 31?

Thanks - I just went back and reread my (entire) email too and it says the same thing. I get nervous too easily I guess lol!

That would mean that the points should post by at least the end of March. I tried searching, but didn't find the answer to this questions. I seem to remember that with the Arrival+, you could erase old charges with newly earned points. I'm hoping to use these points on our Key West trip that we're taking end of Feb/beginning of March. If I charge to the card at that time, will I be able to erase with these points when they post?

DP here. I applied for P2 for a Chase Ink Cash (business) I believe a couple weeks ago and I got an error page that part of the site wasn't working right now. Frustrated I walked away. Last Friday I decided to try again. Success! Instant approval. Sole Proprietor, holds one CIP currently, all past business card closed. I believe it was $9500 CL. Great! So that bolsters me to apply for the CFF for myself. I've really been wanting the grocery store 5% back. I apply and get the 7-10 day message. What a bummer :( Then the email states that they are reviewing and it will take up to 30 days. Bleh.

So fast forward to Monday morning. Woke up early laying in bed and start looking up bonuses. Decided to dip my toe into American Express. Lack of sleep making me bold. I chickened out of applying for the Platinum. Just not enough travel on the horizon. So I just applied for the Blue for the groceries. And got instant approval! I was surprised. Not sure why. My credit score is 834. I got an alert that my score dropped 14 points after the inquiry from Amex though.

Then, sorry long story, This morning I wake up to a welcome email from Chase that they approved my CFF! So strange. So now I really need to spend a lot at grocery stores!

You might check out the Sam’s app - I was able to add my membership card to the app (in the form of a scannable card), so now I don’t even need a physical card at the store (at least that’s what I’m assuming - I haven’t tried it out yet).
this works- I have never used a physical card at Sams, they just don't care that much, I have a screenshot of the card/barcode,and usually use pay as you scan to shop.

I'm the guy who wasn't even sure he wanted to stay at Swan this year because it wasn't "Disney" enough for me so I'm probably their ideal customer, lol. I'm a walk to the parks every day kinda guy now!
See....you just told my secret... I love the S/D ,even more than their 'onsite' neighbors.....shhh

Oh wow, I bet that was amazing! AK is a such a legendary safari company. I checked out their site before asking on here and their options are way out of my budget.:) @PaintsWithAllTheColors suggested Red Africa in South Africa and they seem to be very good budget friendly option. This is a HS grad trip to my nephew so I'm not looking for anything fancy/romantic. I'm now leaning toward SA for this trip and then maybe a future bucket list trip to do Giraffe Manor, the Masai Mara and a gorilla trek in Rwanda or Uganda.
Yes, it was definitely a blow out kinda trip! We also flew 1st class (that was on points - my idea), had a short layover in South Africa at an amazing hotel (wish I could remember the name) and an extra few days in Zanzibar (my husband got terribly sick - not so rosy memories of Zanzibar). My husband planned it all with Amex Centurion Card concierge... it was his FIRST trip outside the US and he had certain... expectations. I, on the other hand, had lived cheap in several countries and backpacked around the Middle East and Europe. Our styles are more aligned now, and far lower budget. I don't think I'll ever sleep on a filthy mattress on the roof of a hostel for $3 again, and he doesn't spend $$$ on crazy expensive hotels, LOL!

I was just approved for the CIC yesterday, but I also want the Chase Freedom Flex before the grocery offer goes away. It's not a big deal if I don't get it now, but I like the 5% grocery offer.
Can you apply for a Chase personal card a few days after being approved for a Chase business card? Or does the 3-month wait come into play here too?
how long did you wait between app and approval? I'm still waiting on a yea or nay here.....

this is one of our chase cards for forever..... I can't seem to change it I gave up-the rest are fine (same email)

Am I the only one that read the Barclay new lower redemption as you can now redeem for $50 charges instead of $100?

Now through 1/31/2021, qualifying gas, grocery store and restaurant purchases made within the last 120 days can be redeemed for travel statement credits. Plus, during this timeframe only, we've lowered travel statement credit redemptions to start at 5,000 miles for $50.

Apparently you still must have a $100 charge, but can redeem just half. Not helpful. Grrrrrr

Use your miles to redeem for a travel statement credit starting at 5,000 miles for $50 toward all or a portion of your qualifying travel purchase of $100 or more made within the last 120 days.
