Does anyone happen to know how often Chase UR changes their travel options or how that all works? I'm asking because we just got back from the most amazing vacation and of course my family says they want to do it again. But of course its not longer available in Chase Rewards.

This was the house but when I put in Watercolor, FL most of the options show never available no matter what week you put in. There are also far less available then when I booked last year at this time. It may not have been the best use of 315,854 its for 6 nights but it was amazing!

Have you checked on AirBnB? You could book something there and then use PYB.

This has me rethinking my plans. I have an 8k bill coming up and was thinking I'd get a CIU or the new Venture. But 260k MRs are enticing!

What do you experts think? Stay the course or switch plans? I could probably easily meet $10k but $15k is kind of stretching it. I also don't have any travels plans to use any of the MRs/URs/CapOne points.

I would try to make the Amex work, the CIU cards SUBs are the typical SUB, this Amex offer won't be around much longer (until Dec 1st).
If you wait to cash out the MRs when they have their bonus rate cash out, usually 1CPP, that will net you $2,000.

I'm jealous. I'm in limbo here, never have heard anything else beyond "we'll let you know".... I've basically given up on this app.
ETA....quoting myself here b/c I truly don't know what to do right now.... 2.5 weeks since app (swa 'biz') got the initial 'need more time' email- and then.......nothing. I really am wishing for a denial letter so I could just move on.... I can't call the automated line b/c it just goes to regular menu choices to speak to a rep..... WWYD? if I wait two more weeks, can I just try for something else? This is killing me b/c I have a number of upcoming bills and I want a decent MSR.....

Do employee cards for AMEX business accounts all count towards the MSR? This seems like a dumb question but I wanted to be sure as I've never bothered with employee cards before.

I haven't hit MSR yet, but when I look at my online account, I can see all the charges made by the employee cards under my biz card so it appears they count toward my account spending. I can see how much spend has been put on each employee card as well, sorted by employee card if I choose that from the dropdown menu.

That would at least get me another rental in the area, BUT from everything I've read it expires in Mar 2022, correct? I only have around 50,000 its right now so not really an option.

Chase recently changed their travel portal from Expedia back to cxLoyalty. That’s why some things changed.

I recently PC'ed my CF to a CSR. I just got the card in and they send a CSR for my wife as well. I just want to be sure that this will not have any effect on our 5/24 status. I didn't request that they send her a card but it came anyway.

DH wants to go to Hawaii, specifically the Big Island. We have 250K Chase Points and 3 FNC at a Marriott plus enough points to book 1 night (can we get the 5th night free using points and FNC?)

Can I get recommendations for Marriott hotels on the Big Island?

When we went to Big island, we visited waikoloa beach marriott resort & spa. Very nice atmosphere. Got some cool shell leis that will last unlike the flowers. Pool was nice and area was well landscaped.

Hilo side there wasnt much luxury. You can tell the difference that it used to be big but hurricanes/tsunamis kind of brought it down. Though you are closer to volcano national park. Kona/West side typically have nicer resorts.

Was your wife an AU on the CF you downgraded? If yes, then that's why you got the CSR card for her too. And the $75 AU fee should show up when your CSR AF posts. If that's not the case, I don't have any explanation for why she got one.

Was it a CF you opened in the last 24 months? If so, then yes, it will affect her 5/24 status. But Chase backdates AUs FWIW.

You can always try to have her removed as an AU if it affects her 5/24. And supposedly, on recon she can ask to have the AU not be counted towards her 5/24 status but YMMV.

The CF is almost 10 years old so back dating wouldn’t be an issue. I’m not sure if she was an AU on the CF but I was asked if I wanted a second CSR and I said no. I’ll call and ask about it. Thank you for the information.

All cards are PIF monthly, and our only hard pulls have been from switching to TMo last winter, and from refinancing our mortgage this summer.

We have not previously been avid travelers, so in the past we have always favored direct Cash Back cards versus cards that build up rewards toward travel. Thus, travel rewards are a little mysterious to me. I have family near MCO, so I visit not infrequently, but I don't typically fly Southwest, and I haven't considered the companion pass before because my husband will not fly. (My daughter will, so that might be something to look at in the future.)

Help me not leave money on the table with this trip!

Of course they'd do that. I did not even notice and just emailed them to request an extension or have them apply the Cert to the stay I had booked with it last year and return my points. It was set to expire 1/3 and we have a trip 1/15 that I could use it for, no need for extension lol I guess I wait for their reply before using it.

I finally got a PS5 for dd! Had to purchase a bundle with an extra controller and a $60+ game, but they didn't markup the price of them and she'd need a game and extra controller anyways. Funny thing is that I wasn't even going to try the store, but I wanted to go to Hot Topic and the gaming store was 2 doors down, so I popped in to see if they had any PS5s, fully expecting them to say no, but I got lucky! Only took me 15 months to get one. Now I need the HP Legacy for PS5 to be released! She's going to be so surprised since I told her last week that I'd just wait for PS6 to be released.
