I'll be honest, I only ever buy 1. On SW, saving seats is not against the rules (there's no rule for or against) I usually have EBCI and stand in front of the aisle seat with my bag in the middle seat, because I'm too short to put it in the overhead. I wipe down the tray tables and armrests. When DH and DS board,DS takes the window, DH puts all our bags in overhead and I sit in middle. No one has ever even asked me if a seat was available, neither flight attendant nor passengers.
This was us before DH got A-list. I figured we weren’t hurting anything since my family fits in the row.

I pay my ATT bill with my CFF to get the cell phone insurance. I have an offer on my BOA debit - pay two transactions of 37.50 and get $75. If I pre-pay ATT twice before my bill posts using the BOA debit and then pay the balance when due, will the insurance still be valid for the month?

It should be. I pay part of my cell bill each month with an Amex to get a $15 credit, than let the rest get auto billed to the card with the best insurance.

But, are they expecting you to do two transactions spaced monthly? Or can you do both in one month?

Thank you! CC interest is definitely higher than student loan interest. I chalk up my student loan payments as things I will pay forever so they barely register in my quest for making my credit work better for me.
Have you considered a balance transfer card? It might make more financial sense than a reward card if you're paying huge interest.

I am interested in the Amtrak bonus that is out.
Cannot find the fine print about how long between sign-up bonuses.
Does anyone know Bank of America's policy?
Last card with them was closed 3 years ago.

I'm planning on an Amtrak card shortly also but I let mine go a couple of months ago.

You should be absolutely fine with 3 years. Other than Chase Sapphire products at 48 months, haven't heard of anything longer than 24 months.

Is this any good? I'm always confused about how much SW points are worth. We're done with CSR + CSP MSRs but want to hold off applying for something else because I want to try for SW CP later in the Fall, so meanwhile maybe I could put some spend on DH's SW card.

It's not bad. But, what other cards do you have? If you have a card with a 5% UR category such as a Freedom product with grocery stores, you might want to max that out first. UR's transfer 1 to 1 to SW and 5 is bigger than 2.

Right, yeah since we have our CFF and CSR, we won't really max out this SW bonus. Unless we have a big Home Improvement store purchase coming up.

It says:

"Earn $75 cash back when you make two transactions of at least $37.50 each with AT&T wireless using your eligible card associated with this offer." and:

"Offer expires 9/17/2021. Must make two separate transactions on AT&T wireless products or services by 11/1/2021. Payment must be made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on AT&T PREPAID or Cricket Wireless products or services. Your $75 cash back is earned within 30 days after making your second transaction. Offer valid one time only."

Not sure how the offer expires on 9/17 but transactions must be made by 11/1??

DD seems to be having a great time at WDW. I'm jealous. Meanwhile I'm refereeing fights between dogs. I would have thought my ex's dog would have warmed up to the puppy by now, but he's still hostile. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree (just kidding).
Hope it gets better! Puggles is going to stay with a Pomeranian while we are away. I am hoping they get along. Teddy was not especially friendly at their first play date together and now Puggles will be there for a week.

Yeah, that's weird. I'd probably make one right now and 1 during the next billing period if it falls before 9/17. I mean try to make each transaction in a separate billing period. But I'm just reading it same as you. Some of these offers should be clearer.

Thankfully the ex's dog is going home today. He's super growly and rude to the puppy (in her house). In the past the ex has watched my dog but I may need a new arrangement going forward. Hope your puggles does okay while you are away!

To me, it means 2x points up to $1000. Freedom is grocery, so that is 5X and I have home improvement bonus on my CIC 5X (don’t remember the end date). If you don’t have those bonuses then I think it’s worth doing.

I honestly hadn't until I start reading through this thread and learning more about the pros/cons of a PC vs a balance transfer (esp if I can find a 0% intro offer or 0% fee).
@punkin

@Disnerdette - here it is right in your own backyard:

Navy Federal no fee Platinum card
Get our Platinum credit card, and you can save on interest with a 0% intro APR on balance transfers for 12 months. After that, a standard variable APR between 5.99% and 18% applies. Plus, you won’t pay balance transfer fees. 1 <------Link to offer
Expires on Aug. 31, 2021

I noted that you've recently rec'd two other NFCU cards. You could call them and possibly convert one of them to this card. Maybe they will let you. It might be too early to do anything with them, but you won't beat the APR after the 12 month 0%, depending of course on your credit.

A long time ago I was up to my neck in credit card debt and worked through it with NFCU's help. Not saying you are. Just saying I had a lot going on (divorce, etc) and the lower interest rates and balance transfers made it easier to get it gone.

I think maybe - first payment has to be before 9/17 and then maybe I have until 11/1 for the second. But I really don't know. I will make both before 9/17 - and across two billing periods if possible.

Haha -----thanks so much! I knew I had a Home Improvement somewhere and I just couldn't click on it in my mind!

I'm getting the frustrated side of dating a pilot. They had him fly out to BWI yesterday to do a flight today. They cancelled it last night and he hasn't heard anything. He was supposed to be back today, which I was happy for, since I have a family wedding tomorrow. Now we sit and wait to see if he'll get back tomorrow at all. He should be, but there are pilots who have been sitting in hotels waiting to hear what to do on their 4 days off.

I've done 3 0/0 transfers. I did the BOA Americard twice, and got the 0% and $0 transfer fee. And then I did Amex Everyday. The actual order was BOA, then Amex, then BOA, LOL.

That has to be frustrating for both of you! Hope he gets back soon.

I'm not using a FHR hotel. It's the other one which requires 2 nights. It should work the same way though, right?

Also, it looks like amex gave me the $200 travel credit for this charge. No sign yet of the hotel credit. Will the two credits stack on one reservation?

Ah, ok. I've only used Amex for FHR bookings so far, and the $100 is just a normal part of an FHR booking, so it might be different in this case, but for me it doesn't show up until we check out (since it's used for dining or spa services normally).

I had one of these for $35 awhile back. I made two $18 payments, within minutes of each other. I did get the credit, but I think it took about 30-60 days.

It's a great offer- congrats!
