DH's Amex Hilton Biz card is up for renewal soon. Anything interesting we could do with this card? DH now has an Aspire, so I can't find a way to justify the AF on this one.
We are pretty sure that we won't be going in November either. We love the concerts at the festivals. Hoping things will be much improved and we will go end up February/early March and most likely drive down. We are also thinking about using some points at Vero before they expire if we decide not to go to WDW.I'm reading DVC to keep up with mostly speculation - no real facts.
I also keep watching for food and wine news. Pretty sure that's gone which is why I think I should just dump most of my November trip and do something else late Nov or early December. I'm so conflicted.
When it comes down to it, a Hilton Head trip is the safest for me because of age, underlying issues such as diabetes, etc. At HH I have rooms with exterior door, yet a decent location and I can be there with almost no interaction, plus get a kitchen for meals, lots of space and usually decent weather. Can still do a studio as well, as I just bring a few appliances to make things easier as the kitchenette is designed with larger counter and away from the living sleeping area - out of sightline.
You could spend your way to a Free Weekend Night Certificate at $15k/year.
Otherwise, it’s notoriously hard to get a retention offer on the Hilton Biz. You can’t PC the Hilton Biz or get upgrade offers to other Hilton cards on it. I think the only benefit is the relatively attainable FNC at $15k spend. With Amex’s new 4 cc cap, I’d seriously consider just canceling it to make space.
It's only been a year - do you think Amex/JealousMistress will be mad if we cancel it? DH wants to apply for a BBP soon.
Is there still a bonus to open a Charles Schwab brokerage acct? I checked reddit but don’t see it.
Also can anyone remind me off the benefits of the Schwab platinum. I see Saks and airline credits? Is that it for credits? I thought I saw streaming mentioned somewhere? Is that not the right card?

Is there any way to track he resort bonus on Hilton Aspire? I see the airline credit tracker but nothing for the $250 resort credit that can now be used for restaurants. If my AF posted, my anniversary calendar is reset, right? If I'm going to keep this card, I need to use all the credits.
I’d PC it...earns 1.5URs on all purchases and we don’t know when Chase will loosen up on business card approvalsMy CIP hits one year on 6/19. Should I PC it to a CIU or close it? We don't currently have a CIU and I'm not ready to apply for a new card just yet. We've been switching off and it's Dh's turn. I'm about to post on the what card thread on dischurners for help with that.

Thank you both for the response. We have to call to PC right? I'm a little worried having eyes on my account, but I don't think it should be too big of an issue. Dh has a CIP hitting one year at the end of this month. Should he also PC or do we not need two CIUs?I agree with @palhockeymomof2. DH just did the same a few months ago. It's an easy 1.5 URs on everything and it keeps a biz card open.
Yes unfortunately have to call to PC.....I’d PC your husbands too since it’s a no fee card..unless he’s like my DH and no way would call and then I wind up calling as him and it’s interestingThank you both for the response. Dh will call so that's not a problem. One time I called for him and totally forgot it wasn't for my card. They asked me twice if they were speaking with the right person because apparently I don't sound manly enoughYes unfortunately have to call to PC.....I’d PC your husbands too since it’s a no fee card..unless he’s like my DH and no way would call and then I wind up calling as him and it’s interesting![]()

Easy choice if you don’t already have a CIC. 5x at office supply stores especially nice when they have no fee VCG in sale.
Forgive my ignorance but what does VGC stand for?
