Ugh....I want more Hilton Head points. I'm tired of juggling them. I need about 75 of them.
Really enjoyed our March trip in our 2 bedroom, but have decided I would like to do a one bedroom March 2021. I'll have to do a 7 month for the rest of my reservation. I started it yesterday after juggling my points to free up what Hilton Head points I had already booked with for other nights. If the one bedrooms disappear I'll move to a two bedroom as the studios will be gone by then. Should probably start with a studio and move up, as that way I'll have more nights booked. This year is so messy who knows what will be available when it's time to use 7 month points?
It is much easier to do a 2 bedroom at that time or any other time for that matter, but I have no guarantee that anyone will want to go. Could have booked a studio for 5 nights which is what I'm aiming for. Could have borrowed next years points but didn't want to as I already have BWV points borrowed into 2020.
I made myself a chart yesterday with the possibility of banking points into 2021 plus creating a Hilton Head 5 day week, keeping my January Disney trip at BCV, shortening my November trip at Boardwalk, and dumping my February reservation but still going, and staying offsite, maybe at Marriott or the house family has for a few nights.
Also, common sense tells me to buy Saratoga as they are less dues, but I'd still be juggling and at the mercy of 7 month. Hilton Head points are cheaper but the dues are more so it's a wash for a few years. I'll do some math projections on that and see what the real picture is as HH is a 2042 resort and SSR is a 2054 resort. 2042 is a cleaner deal, nothing to leave behind if I make it age 89, lol.
Meanwhile, I should sell my Vero Beach small 50 point contract. For the times I would go if I ever go again, no 11 month is needed.
