As I know we sometimes have questions here and have a lot of lurkers as well. This post was on the podcast board - A message from a webmaster. It just explains the fine line we're all on with the boards with what's going on and what they're trying to do and what things you can ask a moderator about and get answers
So is Baby Watch allowed?

This should be interesting....

People were reporting everything went to the first card on file. Welllll sure enough, looks like my entire $6500 went back to the 2 cards used by Chase's travel agency. I called them and they have not received the refund yet so I'll keep checking but this will be really odd. About $3300 should go back in points and they'll have to cut me a check for the other $3200.

Oh, and in other news, I used a referral to apply P2 for their first CIP. He's finally well under 5/24 so it's ON! We completed MS on SW Biz card 2 and have companion pass (without a place to use it....go figure)!

I wonder what card they use and who gets to use the points???:D

I’m sure many of you remember my agonizing over our 30th anniversary flights to Honolulu this fall, that I booked last fall. Poured over every flight combo to find the perfect lie fat flights each way ( we have never flown even first class), and ended up choosing direct on Delta on the way out and a connecting American flight on the way home. That of course cause me much stress during the AA chaos. But that one settled in. Now Delta has cancelled my flight and put us on connecting first class (not Delta One lie flat) through Salt Lake City. I know it’s selfish and stupid considering everything, but I lost it. This was the perfect flight to start the perfect trip that we worked so long and hard for and now it’s not what I wanted. Again so stupid, but I really wanted to be able to put my feet up for such a long flight. Anyway... Delta said I can have a full cash refund. I don’t know if I want to do that l, or just keep the flights (even though I paid for a more expensive flight) but if we do, anyone know how the refund works if I used Chase URs to book the flights??

So sorry, Erika! I hope you figure out what works best for you. Do they have other flights that would work better?

I can’t answer your question, but sympathize with you. This year is our 25th anniversary. First we were going to Italy, but ultimately ended up changing to Hawaii in October. We have flights and resort booked, and yet I’m not sure we’ll even go at this point. You have every right to feel anger, disappointment, etc. You put a lot of effort into creating a special vacation, only to be let down. Yes, we all need to be thankful for our health and that of our loved ones right now, but darn it, sometimes having a small tantrum that all of our well laid plans are being ruined is ok too. I hope we both get to go to Hawaii in the fall.

Downton Abbey- @Alexle2007 got it right!

We have been watching Downton Abbey as a family. We were all doing great until the end of Season 3 and now our youngest won't watch it anymore! We were flying through the episodes. Not sure when we will be able to see the rest of it since we are trying to watch things as a family. May have to wait until we are empty nesters in the fall. It is a great show!

So on the topic of entertainment: Every night is a family movie night at the SFF household right now. We first went through all of the Star Wars films in chronological order. Then we did all of Harry Potter. Now we are on to Pixar films in order of release. Tonight is #5 which is Finding Nemo. (We will be watching even the "bad" ones when we get there... so keep us in your thoughts as Cars 2 and Good Dino approach, haha!)

Last night was Monsters Inc (and as many of you know my wife is obsessed with Sulley!). I was VERY impressed with the quality and detail of the animation in that film that is now almost 20 years old!! I'd imagine we'll be very impressed with Finding Nemo tonight too. Pixar is truly amazing!!

With the limited travel, I now have enough MRs and URs I could cash out and cover 2/3 of DS’s private school tuition and DH’s eBay sales have been booming. I am making almost daily runs to USPS to drop off packages.

A few questions for @Alexle2007 and anyone else who sells on eBay: Do you use auctions or fixed price? Do you offer free shipping or charge separately for shipping?

I'm about to list a few collectibles that my kids have left behind (apparently older Manga books are somewhat collectible).

It's been years since I've sold on eBay so I'd welcome any tips from those who have been selling.

That does stink and I'd be very disappointed as well.

Chase will refund you the URs that you used to pay for the flights (at least that's what they did for me with our flights from Oslo to Stockholm that I booked with URs).
