Back at the end of February, seems like about 2 years ago 😂 my plan was to get DH a CIC to go along with his CIP. Now in bizarre’o land I’m not so sure. Worst case scenario he’s denied 🤷🏼‍♀️ If that’s the case, how long should he wait until he tries for say a personal card? He’s at 3/24 so there’s some wiggle room, he has a CSP, but I would love some more UR’s for him. Any thoughts?

There are stories of people getting denied for a biz card and going for a personal a day or 2 later and getting approved. 😊

It's pouring rain now, so I thought I'd share a bit of sunshine from my morning ride. Same as last week -- went east to the A1A, then south to Deerfield Beach, back north on S. Ocean back to the A1A and back home. Just 25 miles -- I was in a hurry to come home and bake some fresh sour dough bread (it's still proofing; I am going to use the recipe @hsmamato2 shared tonight for fresh bread tomorrow -- sadly the yeast I had in the pantry was past the expiry date and the loaf isn't rising).

So pretty!

This should be interesting....

First time I try to use points towards a cruise and it was cancelled with the pandemic. Went ahead and asked for a refund from RCCL. Wellll......45ish days later refunds are starting to come but not exactly how they came. People were reporting everything went to the first card on file. Welllll sure enough, looks like my entire $6500 went back to the 2 cards used by Chase's travel agency. I called them and they have not received the refund yet so I'll keep checking but this will be really odd. About $3300 should go back in points and they'll have to cut me a check for the other $3200.

Oh, and in other news, I used a referral to apply P2 for their first CIP. He's finally well under 5/24 so it's ON! We completed MS on SW Biz card 2 and have companion pass (without a place to use it....go figure)!

This is naive, but I wonder if you could have just used extra?

Has anyone seen the 25,000 extra points added to their SW CP tracker?
I have been watching mom's account and nothing yet. I have been hoping to get them toward mom's CP. I spent some time this morning looking at the 25% promotion that we had activated on her account. I did notice her points posted on 2/4, 3/4 and then the posted another 25,000 on 4/3. the 4/3 points wold not qualify for the 25% bonus. My issue is, the CC period did not close until 4/4. I sent out a tweet stating the points posted before the end of the credit card statement period and am hoping for the bonus points. Any thoughts?

Then if she gets the 25,000 extra points we will be close to a second CP.

I haven’t decided what we are with our RCCL. I am still waiting on the refund for the onboard extras. We are thinking about just taking the voucher for 125% and sailing next year since it is already paid for.

In the next few months I will be replacing my cell phone. Granted this could change, but I'm hoping my next card is a hilton card so I won't be putting it on that even with the MSR since I'm guessing it's not my best option. If that doesn't work out then I'm more likely to get another MR card before going back to chase.

So that leaves me with the Plat and CSR as options because I think they are better options over others, though I do also have a CIP. I'm not sure I'll keep the CIP or PC it but I'd rather apply for another biz than PC at least to start but I also have some time to figure that out. I also think I'm more apt to keep the Plat due to the asia trip next year over the CSR but I may keep both, I don't know and will figure that out next year when af's hit. Of the 3 cards, if one offers better protection/option for buying the phone, (which I'll get straight from at&t after the debacle of getting the last one fixed and I still think it's a lemon which is why it's even getting replaced at almost 2 years) I could be swayed into keeping the card if it offers up enough protection etc. I think the plat might be the better way to go but I'm not sure. Thoughts?
