My biz Bonvoy card renewed in early April (AF posted). I want to cancel, but I am waiting (for almost 4 weeks) for my $870.00 credit from British Air (cost for the taxes for our flights home from the Maldives).

Will there be an issue if I cancel the card and the credit comes in after cancellation? I do not want to keep this card as I have no use for the 35,000 FN certificate.

For the southwest support links, do the points you earn from those count toward CP? Trying to decide if DH needs to apply for the biz card to earn it this year now that he'll be getting the bonus 25,000 qualifying CP points. With those points and what he's earned so far this year on his personal card he'll only be about 15,000 miles short. I hate to waste an app slot on that biz card when there are other cards we'd rather get.

yes, they count.

Well today was the worst day of my entire professional career... 10 of my customers will not be getting PPP funds, despite me doing everything right, despite applying immediately when available. I don’t want to get into the reasons why on a message board (for privacy reasons) but it’s not right, and these people essentially got screwed (and not by the govt).

Thanks for all you did for your clients over the last few weeks! I know you were putting in long, long hours. We are one of the many that are on the other side and didn't get funding. Take a few days and enjoy your family time!

If/when my Alaska cruise is cancelled, any way to get a refund on Amtrak saver fares purchased on my CSR?

Just applied for the SW biz card for DH so he can earn the CP. Got the "we need more time" screen at the end. It has been 3+ month since his last card. I'm wondering if I should have lowered some credit limits?

I search all mail items for "offer" "extended" and found nothing like that from Chase.
I put over $2k on the card on April 8th. I wonder if the % completed played a roll in who got the extension?
I did not get a text, email or message either and I opened my CIP on 3/26. Up until 4/15 I spent $89 but I just put $2k on it Wednesday. I plan to pay my property taxes next month so I’ll make MSR anyways. Just wonder why some are extended and some are not.

P2 got CIU on 2/24. I have about $200 left for MSR and he received extension. The extension is not reflecting in the tracker yet, but did receive the email.

I've been ordering everything "for delivery" these days, and I've been pretty lucky about what shows up when. Until now. I ordered some sewn masks from Etsy and the USPS has messed this one up badly. They went from AZ to CA (yay) and are now in Indiana? At this rate I'm never getting out of the house.

Wishing I could sew right now, but I don't even have material on hand.

Yeah, quite the mystery. Mine officially opened 3/27

DD got an email detailing her extended time to meet the MSR and the email said it was for cards opened by 3/31. Her tracker isn’t updated yet either. I opened a CIP on 4/2 but didn’t get the extension email.
Me too. Mine opened 3/25. DH 4/1. I received the email but he did not.

That happens to me all the time. No need to worry specifically. If your CLs are within the recommendations, it should be fine. It may take a little longer to approve just due to all the other things happening.

All this talk about LEGO’s got me to looking around. Haven’t done this in a long time, but found a 2500 piece replica football stadium of my alma mater. Just came in yesterday and I am like a kid at Christmas! Now just hoping it doesn’t take me until Christmas to finish.

So cool! I'm not sure if I've shared this story here before, but we downsized last year and got rid of a ton of stuff--literally over 50 pieces of furniture and 75% or more of our household items. I was ruthless (it feels *so* good BTW).

We basically did a combo of charity donations, consignments, eBay, craig's list, and auctions to get rid of things. It was enlightening on many levels.

To summarize my experience: people don't want your stuff and getting rid of things is a ton of effort--and I'm including donations in this. Goodwill and Salvation army won't take a lot of things! If the stuff is nice, consignment is the best. Ebay was one of my worst experiences (fraud issues that favor the buyer and lots of weird people) and auctions should be a last ditch effort. One of the big surprises was Craig's list. If I could do it over again, I'd probably start there with anything that couldn't be consigned. And of all our things, do you know what got the best return on the dollar (hint: it wasn't china or silver, which was worth almost nothing or even my expensive designer bags and purses which did pretty well)? It was DD20s huge sets of legos. She has always loved legos and we usually got her one of the big/expensive sets for her birthday and/or Christmas. She had a bunch of them. They all got us near close to the original purchase price and some were over on Craig's list. Crazy! We dealt with the security issue on Craig's list by using DH's business as our meeting place. But he actually said everyone he dealt with was awesome.
