HaleyR - when are you due? Each time I log onto this thread, I expect to see a baby update.... :) Hope you're feeling well and that things go smoothly when the time does come.
I'm due April 23 so 9 days! I'm feeling good, just really tired. I've been having trouble sleeping already so I'm sure I'll be used to it once he gets here lol. I had an appointment this morning and everything is still looking good. We set a date for induction, but she still thinks I'll go on my own. For now, I'm enjoying building our Lego sets and taking naps lol

Just cancelled hotel for Disneyland in May. Got on UR's. Was refundable - so credit was easy.

Also, cancelled flight from Vegas to Orange County. Also with UR's. Delta had changed the airport from Orange County to LA so was able to get UR's back instead of Delta Vouchers. I went online to Chase and hit Cancel Flight - got the Chat Pop Up - had to wait about 10-15 minutes but the gal was able to cancel.

I logged out of Chase and back in and points from hotel and flight were there already.

Still have more flights to cancel - waiting on Delta to either change the flights somehow or extend policy through June.

Managed to chat online with Chase today about DH's May flights. Was advised to wait as the United voucher (no refund available) would only be good until Sept 2020 and specific to him. I thought there had been some changes with the dates but I guess not if we initiate the cancel? Also waiting to see if Philippines extend travel restrictions, they were giving refunds through April 30 so far. I see the Cayman Islands are now not allowing international flights in through May 31.

I used the search at the upper right hand corner of the page And searched Disney gift cards. I was able to put it in my cart and pay. My charge is pending.
Ha, I can't win. Found the search bar using a different browser, but it's telling me the gift card page doesn't exist.
I will also wait to see if anyone actually gets their cards first :-)

Sent a SM to Chase for our new CIP, asking what the last date to meet MSR for signup bonus was. I sent the message 5 days ago, and they responded today, saying due to Covid the MSR period has been extended to 6 months. So now we have until Sept 27th to meet spend. I didn't even ask. I'm super happy with that, since I was going to have to get creative with meeting the MSR.
That is good news, I am going to have my DD send a message and ask the same thing. She was just approved mid March. Maybe I’ll have my other DD apply if she can have 6 months to meet MSR too.

I have $300 CSR travel credit and renewal is october. I was going to easily spend that this summer, but now I don't see any way to do so as we aren't traveling. Any advice on how to get use of this? Should I book some sort of refundable airfare or something and just cancel in september?

Looks like Chase is automatically extending MSR periods by 3 months for cards opened between January 31 and March 31:

I'm making scary good progress on the MSR for DH's new MileagPlus Explorer card, but nice to know I have an extra 3 months if my spending slows back down...
This is fantastic news! Due to my situation with chase I wasn’t going to ask them for an extension so I don’t have eyes on my account but this is great

Got the third floor done tonight (it’s a recording studio). Sorry if some of you are getting annoyed of the pictures

Churning advice needed, please! I'm starting to think about trying to take three or four of us (older ds will be in college) to England and Scotland in summer of 2022 or 23, and I'm looking for suggestions on best cards to get for flights. I can figure out hotels, but the flight thing is kind of overwhelming, as all my churning-generated flights have been Southwest or Alaska Air. I also know there's the whole high taxes flying out (and in? not sure) of the UK thing, so tips on that would be appreciated.

I might be under 5/24 in September, it depends if they count a Macy's store card (I know, I know). DH will be under 5/24 next month. I'm not really comfortable with business cards. We live in CA, so having separate flights to the east coast is definitely a possibility. Business or first class would be nice, but I'm guessing probably too pricey in points for so many of us. Thanks!

AmEx told me that the retention offer statement credit would show in 6-8 weeks but it was there in less than a week. Still, major waste of benefits this year. We aren’t going out anywhere so no use for Uber. It was hard enough to spend the airline credit before - forget it now. Any ideas? Last year I used it for international luggage fees and a mileage multiplier. I hope Saks is open by June 30 to get a gift card.
