My 13 son convinced me to try Frozen 2 again because he said the music was better than the first one. I wanted to spend some time with him (we actually also watched Tangled, which I've seen before but have almost NO memory of) and then watched Frozen 2. While I disagree the music is better than the first one, "Into the Unknown" is definitely catchy. He says he listens to the Panic! At the Disco version on Spotify.

It was a good evening.

I've thought that the $250 Chase Referral bonus is taxable. Does anyone know how true this is?

I got a 1099 INT from Fifth Third bank for a $250 bonus for opening an account with them.

But I cannot find online, nor did I get a 1099 INT from Chase. The December statement only shows 2019 fees and 2019 interest paid.

I applied for, received, and met the minimum spend for the SW bonus points well before my mother did on hers. She has received her bonus points and I have not. Does this indicate a problem, or it typical for this to happen?

First under 18 diagnosis (not hospitalized at this point) in my area 😞

Part of me wants to fast forward to a month from now already. But the other part knows the time ahead is potentially full of misery and horrible news and I don’t want to see it. Guess that leaves me hunkering down at home, praying this passes mine and my friends (y’all my friends!) unharmed and trying to maintain a grasp on sanity...

We have a 5 year old in Howard County, Maryland. That's near my daughter. The one death as of yesterday was near me.
And, I miss @speedyfishy where are you? Did you get a job? Starting to think new husband made you give up Disboards! j/k.

Y'all, my dd19 will be home tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss my dd so much! I'm just so excited and cannot wait. She will be home with her friend, who is staying with us, indefinitely, as his family is quarantined and he can't return home. So, 'mi casa et tu casa'.

It might be a good idea for them both to practice some social distancing from your at home family for a bit to be sure they did not come into contact while traveling. That's what I'm doing with my daughter at home - she's been here by herself and I just got here Thursday night. I figure if I have it from my travels it will present itself as I'm older. We already have separate baths and now are not using our kitchen together. She wiped all surfaces before I arrived. We normally do not spend our time in the same rooms so that is now a good thing. The other side is she now has to go to work Monday, unless this changes shortly. Perhaps this is over the top caution but I think any caution is a good thing right now.

Me too! I want to slap Florida a la Moonstruck and tell them to “snap out of it!” I feel like Florida’s delay in acting this week is definitely going to cost me my Memorial Day weekend trip. Come on Florida, get it together!
I have been feeling the same...(also any Moonstruck reference is a good reference) FL has been very slack about this.... yet SO many people from SO many places in and out of FL regularly.....

Do the points show up on your chase statement, but not in your RR account ?
If it’s a personal card make sure the RR number on the card matches your RR account

My daughter and her husband come for dinner on Fridays, they didn’t yesterday.
Her DH is ATC and some of the controllers have been tested but no results yet...if anyone is positive they shut the whole facility and another takes over the sector.

We had our first coronavirus death in the area yesterday, so our lockdown has been extended to at least April 27 (I think that's a little optimistic, but they're trying).

Also, come on y'all with the eggs, this is ridiculous.

There are about a dozen 1 week old eggs in my refrigerator. From an 18 pack. I don't eat a lot of eggs, but want to keep them to cook with right now, until I get a few more.

PS, I know where a guy has some chickens - I saw them while driving along one day.

And, someone has a couple in my daughters neighborhood. For a while there, back yard chicken coops (like 2 chickens) were a 'thing' and I had thought of getting myself a couple of chickens, but I was afraid other critters would get them. Now I wish I had them.

Southern Maryland Amish produce a lot of eggs. Perhaps a drive into the country might work right about now. I have friends down in Hughesville and Charlotte Hall. One used to bring eggs to sell to us at work - organic certified eggs.

I *think* you can crack each egg into a baggie and freeze to use later for cooking....also my eggs keep much longer than one week in fridge, you should be fine.

I did my nails this evening and watched The Office too! I hadn’t watched in forever. (Glad it’s still on Netflix so it’s easy for me to watch!)
DH will rampage the day Netflix removes The Office.

I’m super excited about Onward being on Disney+ soon! Wonder what will happen with Mulan... That one really deserves the big cinematic experience though.

OT - which moderate resort is everyone's favorite? I'm planning some back up reservations if our May DVC BCV trip gets cancelled, and not sure I'll find availability on points, so I'm thinking I'd book a moderate with the AP Sun and Fun offer. We stayed at CSR in rehabbed room a few years ago and enjoyed it, but thought maybe CBR for the skyliner, or POFQ to try something new. Thoughts?

I wasn't impressed by the movie, but I do like the Kacey Musgraves version of All is Found that played over the credits.

We did get not them for our credit card referrals with Chase, I can't tell from your post if that is the type of referral you are referencing. I had $400 worth and DH had $350. They would have been a 1099-MISC I think? I opted not to report them on my taxes. That is a personal decision. They are not obligated to report income less than $600. In my experience bank accounts get 1099's over $10 of interest.

Do you mean a bank bonus or a referral bonus for a credit card? Bank bonuses will generate at 1099-INT from Chase in the year it was received. If you didn’t get one report it anyway as we’ve seen Chase go back and audit and 6 months later say “oops here you go!”. Referrals will generate a 1099-MISC from Chase only if you earned over $600.

I take a couple of type 2 diabetes meds and blood pressure med and I see they are made in India, Italy and the UK. I'm good for a couple of months but now wondering what happens when I run out. Will there be any left at CVS? I can't order until I'm down to a weeks worth of pills.

Insurance companies have been waiving the normal restrictions on when you can refill. My pharmacy was able to get an override on both DD's and DH's Rx. You might want to call just to check.

They still don’t care unfortunately. I’ve seen lots of people asking about how they can get around the public parking rules for the beaches. I’ve seen public businesses saying they won’t stop serving food in the restaurant unless someone comes to stop them
Well I hope someone comes to stop them now

Mine will be home on Monday for about 10 days. She shared some pretty disturbing projected numbers for her hospital. Hopefully the lockdowns make an impact. We found out yesterday my DHs salary will be cut by 50% next month, my hours will dry up(even though we're open as essential, no new patients are coming). We've got an emergency fund so I know we are in a way better place than so many others. :(
